The neck section is sufficient for heat. However the pockets and lower back are extremely weak. My expectation was for a better product for the money.

I would recommend this vest however, I would like it to get hotter. It'll keep you toasty if it's 55 degrees out. It works best if you have just a t-shirt under it. I would like it better if I could significantly feel the heat while wearing a t-shirt and an overshirt/hoodie/sweater underneath the vest. The back heat works the best. The collar heat is very comfortable but underwhelming. The pocket heat barely works at all. You can feel it but it will not warm your hands. Well constructed, battery is fine but overall heat is so, so. Still glad I own it.

AlthoughI basically like the Ororo products, this is the second jacket that I had to buy because the first one , a small, was too small. I have another Ororo jacket and vest that a small fits generously. The website shows a model who is 5'6" and weighs 125 lbs. I am 5'2" amd weigh 115. I bought the first one on sale so it is non returnable. If your sizing was more acurate I would not be stuck with a jacket that I can't wear. Also I had to buy this second jacket because the first one I bought is only 2 years old and the zipper is broken. I took it to Rainie Pass repair( the busiess that REI uses and recommends for repair) and they installed a new slider ( for free) but noted that the zipper itself is flattened and the new slider progbably will not work.

Gloves are very nice but the cuffs are very tight and hard to get over my jacket.

As first time customer to ORORO, I am impressed with the quality of merchandise, and even more so, with the quality of service rendered. I shall remain a loyal customer for the future. I ordered a sweater for my wife. It was a bit too small, so we returned it for one size larger and it is a perfect fit! All along the way in making this exchange, the process was easy and customer friendly. ORORO definitely stands by its products and is customer oriented.

I like the fact that it heats up because I work in a cold environment. But, having issues with the zipper constantly not lining up and coming apart and splitting open on the bottom. This would cause me not to repurchase this product.

Selections, order and delivery were great and I'm looking forward to wearing my new heated jacket. Just an FYI that I'm finding return processing is longer than expected. It's been 5 business days since Ororo received my return but I've not received an acknowledgment or refund yet.

I am very happy with the Calgary heated gloves. My feet and toes are always freezing when I ski, so I was anxious to try a pair of heated gloves and socks this ski season. Without turning on the heating element, these gloves are about as warm as any pair of ski gloves I've ever owned. With the heater turned on, they really helped keep my fingers warmer. To be honest, they don't keep my fingers as toasty as I was hoping they would, but they certainly helped. Over several days of skiing, I learned that I was most comfortable when I cycled the heating element on and off, which also helps the battery last longer. Also, it helped to turn the gloves on shortly before wearing so they would be warm when I put them on. The drawback to the gloves are that they can become moist inside and since the liner is not removable, it takes some time to dry out. Also, there were a few times when the gloves turned on without my knowledge. It wasn't a big problem but with limited battery life you could run out of charge unexpectedly. I cannot recommend the socks. They are so thick that I couldn't put on my ski boot. I tried to wear them in my street boots when I went out in the evening, but again, because they were so thick, I could barely get me boot on. Walking was very uncomfortable, so they are relegated to only being worn at home. On the plus side, that gives me two extra batteries to use with the gloves since the batteries are interchangeable. The batteries fit in my jacket pocket so I can carry them with me easily and I don't need the optional charger.

Honestly I love this brand. I have a vest and this jacket and a battery will last you about 4 hours on almost high-ish so having two is great so you can switch out to get a whole day if needed. I'm a commuter in a large city and this is a game changer. I put it on high, get into car, head into the office, it's chilly, I keep it on, etc... I used to bring an electric blanket and fingerless gloves to the office and I am decidedly less weird in my newish role. Get one if you are a cold girl. Can't speak on outside stuff but I LIVE in this when my husband drags me camping, fishing, etc... Additionally, I've even considered taking a downhill skiing class because I'll be warm. Stay toasty all.
