Fits great and true to size. My kid has worn it multiple times to the hockey rink and stays way warmer in the stands compared to before (even without needing a blanket). The larger battery is a bit heavy, but it lasts a loooong time—more than enough to keep them warm the whole time. We haven’t even needed the high setting—medium and low do the job just fine. (4 stars due to battery weight) Overall, a great winter jacket for kids

I really liked the feel of the ORORO EverSmooth Portable Heated Pad. The fabric is incredibly soft, smooth, and cozy, and it has a very soothing feel to it. It’s also a nice size and weight, making it comfortable to use while relaxing. The battery compartment was easy to access, and although the battery pack was a little larger than I expected, it isn't heavy or noticeable. It does include straps for securing the pad, but I personally didn’t need them, though others may appreciate having them. The downside was the heat level. While there are multiple temperature settings, I honestly couldn’t tell much difference between them. None of the settings felt especially warm to me, and overall it didn’t get as hot as I would have liked. That may be intentional for safety, but if you’re looking for strong heat, this may not be warm enough.

"As a long time fan of my Ororo heated vest, and classic heated jacket, I was excited to get this heated fleece. It's perfect for those chilly days where the weather is cool enough for some added heat, but not requiring the layering that goes with wearing my vest under another coat or jacket, and not cold enough for my heavier classic heated jacket. This heated fleece hits that sweet spot in between. In and of itself, the fleece is soft, warm and comfortable. I wore it to a couple of baseball games lasting 2-3 hours each with the temps in the low 50's (maybe even dropping into the upper 40's), and I was completely comfortable throughout. I love the addition of vibration to the control button. That tactile feedback is perfect when turning it on or changing levels. It's not as obvious what level you're on with the button on the inside at the bottom hem and I did have to flip it back on itself to see what level it was on when I wanted to change it, but honestly I'm good with that trade off. Being able to discreetly reach down and under the bottom hem to turn it on is very easy and discreet. It's not that I've ever disliked the glowing control button on my chest, but with this on the inside no one sitting around me even knew it was a heated jacket, let alone that I had turned it on. There were 2 minor reasons I deducted a star and only gave it 4 instead of 5. The first is nit picky, and admittedly personal preference. I'd prefer the collar be easier to fold over and lay down. I know it's designed to integrate with the outer shell, and that's likely why it's more prone to stand higher so that it can be snapped in. The other reason is sizing. It seemed just a bit too long in the arms. I wear a large in everything for shirts, jackets and coats, in all brands (including Ororo). The arms on this fleece were just a touch too long and came down well past my wrist. The body of the jacket fit well enough that I didn't think it was the case that I needed a medium instead. But, with those two minor things in mind, I still like and look forward to wearing this jacket more on those cool days."

Battery lasted longer than my hunt and worked perfectly under my leafy jacket. Hands stayed perfectly warm and fingers were ready to pull the trigger when the time was right. I can\u2019t wait to try this during duck hunting season! I liked the water resistant outside of this hand muffin. Definitely buy this!"
