“I ordered flowers for a funeral last weekend. I chose the time slot for 9am because the funeral was at 10am. When I got the confirmation, it said "before noon" so I got in touch via the chat immediately to let Ottawa Flowers know that it was critical that the flowers be delivered at 9am (the time slot I chose) because the funeral was at 10. The person on the chat issued an "order change" to ensure that it was clear that they had to be there at 9 and assured me that they would be there on time. (I was prepared to cancel the order if they couldn't guarantee a 9am delivery). Unfortunately, after all that effort they arrived long after the funeral had started (I received an email notice that they had been picked up for delivery at 10:10am). I never even saw them. I emailed them that evening to express my dissatisfaction and I have never even received an acknowledgement of my email, let alone an apology. I do not recommend ordering flowers from Ottawa Flowers if you want them to get there on time (or decent customer service).”

“TERRIBLE! I order flowers for my daughter's birthday with enough time, I specified that it was business hours, and the flowers were not arriving.... I call and a very annoying girl told me that I had to pay $10 more for them to send the flowers that day. Terrible service and customer service!”

“I ordered the “V-Irises and Tulips in a Glass Vase” it looks absolutely nothing like the picture. It was a complete mess, the arrangement was awful, the flowers drooped over the vase, the iris flowers were the bulk of the bouquet and most of them hadn’t bloomed yet, it looked like a bouquet of just filler greens, hardly any flowers. Never ordering from here again.”

“Please contact me - I’m embarrassed that my mother received this bouquet and actually called to tell me about it - I tried to reach out to you info email and called the store - I did want want to write this review - Your company should be embarrassed for what they delivered and attached their name to - $140 for dead ferns - But yet , you call the recipient of the Flowers’ and say you will reliever a new bouquet on Wednesday ! What about the guy that’s paying ! This is not ok”

“I made the mistake of placing my order before reading these reviews... Never again. The order was placed well in advance in time for Valentines Day. The flowers never showed up. I tried contacting the company via phone and e-mail several times throughout the day just for a status update, but I guess they don't have a single person working the phones or handling any sort of customer questions. I waited and waited and waited and the bouquet simply never arrived. I've followed up several times the next day and have still not heard anything. Based on the reviews below, these guys clearly do not care at all with how they impact Valentines Day for anyone else. I'd highly recommend looking for another Florist before making the same mistake I did.”

“I particularly picked a specific arrangement from the website and the order was totally DIFFERENT !!! It was supposed to be a rainbow basket, and what was delivered had two colors only! I could've taken the picture from the website to any flower shop to do the exact same, but I was honest enough to order from Ottawa Flowers assuming it's THEIR amazing design which they did not bother to honor I called to check on the order , the lady who picked it up told me the recipient has received it personally, later I realized my friend was working from home and did not even go to the office. So who exactly received the flowers? Why did we leave the recipient contact if you will not call her Such a waste of Money!”

“I paid or delivery at a certain time and date; the location for delivery is five minutes from their office; I had to phone twice after delivery time to ask when it will be and yet fifty minutes late delivery has not yet happened!! The joy of sending flowers is spoiled. The magic for the recipient is gone.”

“Very unimpressed with both the product I received and the customer service. I ordered a bouquet for my sister who just had a baby - i paid for what was supposed to be baby blue with blue flowers, teddy bear and ribbon and instead a white bouquet in a navy blue glass vase arrived. When I called to complain I was told that they would call accounting to give me a partial refund but couldn’t tell me what the refund was. It ended up being 50% of what I paid when it should have been 100% reimbursed as the product I purchased was nothing like the product that arrived. I will be leaving a Google review with pictures. Very unfortunate that this was handled the way it was as I order lots of flowers and am constantly asked for recommendations for events. Will not be recommending this company.”

“Paid extra for delivery before 4pm. Order was not delivered at all. Delivery was to a hospital. Website explicitly states that they deliver to this hospital. When I called to ask why my flowers were not delivered, they told me that they do not deliver to this hospital. Could have ordered from somewhere else if I had been told this upfront, now the whole opportunity to send flowers that day was missed. Was promised an immediate refund. Refund not provided.”

“Unacceptable, Unfeeling Service. Last Tuesday I ordered a large Funeral spray for my best friend to specifically be delivered the next day, Wednesday to stay with & then go with the casket to the gravesite this Friday morning for an 11 am gravesite service. I noticed on Thursday that my order was "in progress" so I called them at 8:30 am this morning, Friday and they told me that the order was to be delivered this morning at 9:30am. I told them that I didn't authorize this and they said they would investigate and apologized. They called me back at 5 pm to say that their staff person had called the funeral home on Tuesday & checked on the funeral time & proceeded to change the date and time. I was not asked nor notified of this change. I was unable to attend the service so having the flowers with the casket for 2 days was important to me. This has added to my distress & sadness. I will not order from this florist again.”

“I ordered a bouquet for my wife for mothers day, I set the delivery time for anytime. They showed up at 10:25pm , the driver didn't ring the door bell he just stood in the dark in-front of our doorbell camera. He apologized for the delay as they were busy, when I received it from him the packaging and flowers smelled like cigarettes and were absolutely disgusting. I've submitted multiple emails to Ottawa Flowers and crickets. First and last time using this company, if they could not deliver properly and at a reasonable time they should not have accepted my order over $100 for literally trash.”

“My husband ordered me flowers & chocolates for mothers day. They arrived noon the next day. Suppose to have chocolates received a 70% cocoa bar. Cost $165 range. Not worth it. Never again!”

“My thoughtful husband sent me flowers for Mothers Day. The flowers I received were not thoughtful. The arrangement consisted all the rose buds being dead and several of the mums were broken. Needless to say during this time it would have been nice to receive a floral arrangement that was fresh and delivered on time. My card for my husband's order number said Saturday May 8 the flowers were delivered late on Sunday afternoon. Also when I keyed in the order number to fill out the survey it said that my number was invalid. A real disappointment. We will never deal with this company again!”

“I ordered flowers for my mother-in-law who is 85. We live in Florida and have not seen her in over a year due to Covid. She received her flowers on Saturday and as of this morning most of them are dead. I have tried calling you directly but no one is anwering the phones. I will try calling again later today.”

“I am baffled and annoyed I would be asked to submit a review when the flowers I ordered for my mother for mother's day never arrived. I had a similar issue last year but at the time COVID-19 was new to us and so I was understanding. This year I am not and will never use this company again.”
