If i had a chance not to give a star, I would. Poor customer service, poor quality, poor communication. I will share my story as I think i need to be heard. I haven’t seen my mother for 3 years and I wanted to do something nice and choose a good quality flowers with the service. As eblooms mentioned that they are “awarded flowershop in Ottawa” I decided to give it a try. Spending over 160$ on the bouquet, I was told my Mom will receive flowers in the morning. So guess what? It is 7 pm and yet no flowers. I tried to contact the store, but no answer, no one returning the calls nor answering my email. I contacted the life chat and Emily ( who I think should not be working in Customer Service) was very rude, did not answer any of my questions and at the end just disabled my access to the life chat. Well oh well. Im sitting here and hoping for the best. My first and last time having business with this company, and I will also assure my friends and family not to have any business with this flower shop.

They failed to deliver the Mother’s Day flowers on time. I ordered on Saturday and did not get the order today (will it even arrive tomorrow?). Also you cannot speak to a person, there is no answering machine, there is no live chat function and no emails were returned. I had to turn to Facebook to get a response and was told there is no way to know if my flowers will arrive. $200 for Mother’s Day down the drain. Read Yelp reviews with similar experiences; this company is not reliable.

First delivery attempt failed doubly: the crystal vase I had ordered was broken in delivery, and I was promised an afternoon delivery. (This spoiled the surprise as well). Furthermore, after adjusting plans to remain home to wait for second delivery, received an email...after closing hours...that no one was home (!). Unreliable service

The middle picture is what was advertised thru Ottawa Flowers and what I THOUGHT that I had purchased for my Daughter for Mother's Day. The other pictures are what she actually recieved complete with: dead/wilted Daisies, a rotten Kiwi fruit, 2 lemons (???) 4 apples and 2 oranges...looking NOTHING at all like the advertised picture! Completely shameful false advertising! Shame on you!!!!!

The middle picture is what was advertised (Fresh Fruit and Flower Basket) and what I THOUGHT I had purchased for my Daughter for Mother's Day from Ottawa Flowers. The rest of the pictures are of what she actual recieved including: wilted/dead Daisies, a rotten Kiwi, 2 lemons(???) 4 apples and 2 oranges...disgraceful false advertising!!!

Ordered flowers for a friends birthday.. Didn’t get what I ordered ... complained.. they never called me back .. I sent pics and an email .. i dont think they used 1 same flower as the one i ordered .. so disappointed.. and I’m sure the arrangement they sent wasn’t worth the same either

I did not receive what I ordered at all. The flowers weren’t in the right vase and there was no card. The flowers in the arrangement weren’t as promised at all. Overall will not order from here again.

I've ordered from this company twice. Both times, particular the last have been terrible experiences. The first time, despite providing all contact information, they put my order on hold without contacting me. When i called them up, they said it was to "verify payment". They then made the delivery late at night, when i had paid a premium to have it delivered at a certain time. The second time I ordered, two days ago, was for a death anniversary. They contacted me a day after the delivery date, and said they didn't have the flowers i ordered. I responded and accepted the alternative (cheaper) flower. At 2PM the day after the delivery date - they cancelled the order for no reason, again without contacting me. Incredibly slow, cheap and unprofessional - especially considering the importance of this date to me and my family.

I ordered 12 roses same day on Feb 14 at 2:00pm for my wife. I had called at 5:00pm to see if they have been delivered yet and was told they would have it delivered by 9:00pm. I was doing this as a surprise for my wife. Unfortunately the surprise was ruined when I had to notify her to keep an eye out for the delivery because she had not received anything by 10:00pm. My wife is pregnant and goes to bed early but out of convenience she had to stay up for the delivery. At 11:45pm she got a call from the delivery guy saying she would receive it in 15 mins. This now makes my order which I paid “same day” order fees for. Invalid. She received the flowers and they were in terrible shape and smelt extremely strong cigarettes. This is very unprofessional, and unacceptable. This smell made her sick, especially due to her pregnancy she can not be around cigarettes at all. The roses I ordered actually died within 2 days of receiving aswell. I am extremely disappointed. I believe I deserve a full refund for this order as it was unprofessional, unsanitary and dissatisfying. I had the worst experience ordering from Ottawa Flowers and would never recommend it for anyone.

The flowers I ordered didn’t arrive. I ordered them and requested they be delivered before 4pm on Valentine’s Day and they weren’t delivered. I didn’t receive any confirmation or any phone calls saying it couldn’t be delivered or it would be delayed. My first experience ordering here was fine but this time was not what I wanted at all. Would not recommend.

I am really disappointed , I placed my order four days ago to be delivered today before noon, yet until 2PM the delivery status is still on progress . I've tried unsuccessfully all the phone numbers posted on the website contacts to speak to a representative . for more than 8 times I called I always found an automatic message , I even wrote an email 3 hours ago and I am still waiting for an answer or update .

Hi Jean, Unfortunately we were closed yesterday for the Civic Holiday so that is why you never got a response to your phone calls. We have sent the order today with an upgrade. You should have been notified when you placed the order that we were not going to be able to deliver on Monday. We sincerely apologize for this. Ottawa Flowers

I have used Ottawa Flowers before and they never failed, but this Mother's Day they failed me spectacularly. I received an email saying "Last Chance for Guaranteed Mothers Day Delivery" so I ordered immediately spending around $250 and requested before 4 pm delivery spending the extra to make sure my mother and grandmother get their flowers promptly. I was excited! I told my father in Ottawa (I'm in Vancouver) don't worry they shoukd be there before 4 pm. Then 5 oclock rolled by. I inquired and the dispatch gave me the drivers cell number. He complained that he had to go here and there and it would be a couple hours. Both my father and I were furious!!! The delay meant they missed their reservation. After dinner and a visit to my grandmother at her assisted living facility (empty handed) they arrived home. Still nothing. The delivery arrived at 9:30 pm!!! Five and a half hours past what I paid for!!! Dont tell me "Last Chance..." and then squeeze me in at tge end of the day ESPECIALLY when you took my money for expedited service which I then relayed! Complete EMBARASSING Nightmare. The flowers were beautiful though when my Father got out of bed and delivered to my grandmother at 11:00 pm.

Hi Scott, After looking into the issue we found that the driver that had your order was overwhelmed by the Mother's Day volume and failed to deliver on time as you requested. We apologize for this and have issued a $19.21 refund for your delivery fee $17 + tax Once again, accept our sincere apology for not being able to deliver on time. Ottawa Flowers Inc.

Doesn't matter how many times I choose deliver B4 4pm, the flowers always arrive much later. I will not use Ottawa Flowers anymore.

The birthday bouquet I received from Ottawa Flowers Inc. was a total disappointment. The flowers were of poor quality, some being dry and broken. The arrangement lacked visual appeal, merely a clump of flowers put together. Hopefully, my son will look to another florist for my future bouquets.

Very disappointed with the flowers I received for my birthday. They were of poor quality, some were dry and others were faded. The arrangement consisted of a bunch of flowers just clumped together without any visual appeal. It actually looked like what one would get from a corner-store. I will be asking my son to no longer buy my bouquets from Ottawa Flowers.

Very disappointed. I placed an order. They didn't include the item I paid extra for. And they won't give me a refund!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

The roses were wilted and turning brown around the edges of the pedals when they arrived Tuesday at my work. Terrible quality. I'm so disappointed. It was for our 31st wedding anniversary.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Made me change my order twice. Delivered order late ( on second day where it was supposed to arrive on my sister’s birthday) balloon burst on the way, sent the wrong chocolate not the one i ordered, and the the plant that arrived was dying and looked nothing like the one i ordered on the website. I complained and your quality assurance met with GM and decided to send a new plant with 2 balloons and we waited for 3 days and nobody showed up. I emailed you twice for a refund and nobody replied. What kind of service is this???! Honestly the worst company ever terrible quality and very poor customer service. I am still asking for a full refund for the rubbish you sent

Poor customer service. Delivery was two days late and company made no effort to contact until late afternoon of the day after delivery was due. They then did not deliver within the two hour window promised when they did get round to delivering. There are lots of other options for flower delivery in Ottawa- I would strongly recommend going elsewhere if you want reliable good customer service.
