NEVER EVER use Parcelcompare ! I was sending a parcel from the U.K. to NZ it was collected by UPS as booked on the 25th March I tracked to Heathrow until the 29th then all tracking stopped. I waited a few days then contacted them asking for tracking info . The parcel was supposed to be delivered on the 5th April . I waited some time to be told they would have to investigate further . After a couple of weeks I received a short email saying there was a size issue. I had to ask what it was and it was a week later before anyone responded. I also asked why I had to contact them almost a month after my parcel was collected to find out where it was . My parcel was returned back to me today without being told when it would be arriving only to find when I got home it was dumped on my doorstep in VERY poor condition. They had the check to charge me for it’s return after already costing me £118 ( including insurance) We opened the very damaged box only to find that the item is damaged. Given that it’s a metal chandelier which is impossible to bend by hand it must have been very badly handled to bend it as they have . UPS is the courier service we booked through parcelcompare . I have emailed them but still haven’t had a response. Their customer service is absolutely shocking . The 1 star is too much I would have preferred to be able to give them a minus star

This company is an absolute scam. I received the initial service without issue however it is their actions AFTER delivery that is the problem. I got many quotes online to deliver my suitcase from UK to USA. This company was the cheapest via DHL. I paid 101 GBP and was really impressed with the service. The instructions were clear, DHL picked up my bag and delivered in a day early. I had packed the suitcase a month earlier before I left for the States and weighed it. It was under 27kg. My family confirmed it was 26.2kg. I obtained the quote rounding the weight and some of the dimensions up so as to be sure I was paying the correct fee. TWO weeks after delivery (and conveniently after every human would have opened their package etc) I got an email stating that DHL had audited the shipment and they were going to charge my card another 211 GBP because the weight of my bag was not 27kg ... it was 86kg. Absolutely ludicrous. I had 5 days to appeal it, which obviously I did. I sent multiple photographs of the suitcase with a tape measure in inches and cm. Luckily I took a photo of the suitcase seconds after it was delivered to show my family it came. After sending these as part of the appeal and explaining my 65 year old mother carried the case down two flights of stairs and the lone delivery man lifted it from my door to his van - in addition to the structure of the case not even being able to hold 86kg - their statement was not possible. I didn't receive a response to this email. I instead received a second email stating that DHL have audited the shipment and that the dimensions of my bag were larger than I had stated. The length of my package was 109cm. This is DESPITE being in receipt of photographic evidence that the tallest my bag was 75cm - LESS than what I paid for. I was advised I had until 26 April to appeal this. On 21st April they charged my card 75 GBP. I am now reporting it as fraud to my bank. I naturally went back to them about the photographic evidence they can see with their eyes. I was advised I only sent photos of the suitcase and not the box. So I went back again explain it wasn't in a box. It was a suitcase. And I sent a photo of the suitcase - not in a box - just after it was delivered. I received an email back confirming they need to check this information with DHL. Which is confusing to me because apparently it is DHL who is advising them of these weights and dimensions in the first place is it not? Or is it? I then got asked to describe the item. Even though they have SEVEN clear photographs of the item. They are clearly making up ways to charge your card after the fact. When you challenge one thing they make up another. I have never experienced something so blatantly fraudulent in my life. And they specifically do it when few people would actually still have the "evidence" they are asking for to appeal it. Parcel Compare destroyed a military grade laptop, shifting the requirements for getting a refund and now I'm exposing them to everyone to be aware of them. I wish I could give them zero out of 5. They are asking for new documentation every day and I'm at point of seeking legal representation to sue them!

Hello everyone, Do check the company before you pay. I paid 77 pounds, no reply confirmation email. No tracking number. I tried to find the email address or telephone number, none. I tried to put information in the contact box, it asked the tracking number. But remember, no confirmation email, I.e. no tracking number..... 100% scam I ask my card to refund and I request the Mastercard to blacklist them, I do not want any more victim like me. Everyone need the shipping service if he finds the shipping company and pay. Cecilia

If I could leave no starts that would be my selection. They are impossible to contact! I paid £30 for next day delivery the parcel is still at the depot 8 days later with no update on the tracking. There is no customer service phone number or chat option delays between email responses are days and days between. Avoid at all costs!! Shipment meant to be collected 11th they came the 12th parcel meant to be received the next day! Still nothing.

I booked on parcelcompare.com a TNT courier to send important documents to Poland. I paid a lot of money for the service. Letter arrived damaged 14 days later, sent via regular Post Office service. I had to pay £10 duty tax for one page!!!! Because parcelcompare.com didn't post paperwork regarding my letter. No customer service number. Damn scammers, AVOID!!!!!

Absolutely horrific. Wedding items did not arrive, no customer service number Emails back and forth with never a straight answer- refused to refund even with my parcel insurance Now being told my items are being returned and I’ll be charged. Absolutely ridiculous

I have send my parcel from here it’s been 2 weeks and there is no way to contact to complain or ask when is my item, please don’t use parcelcompair or ups as I found them from here and lost £300

Booked a parcel, it was delivered via UPS. Two weeks later parcel compare sends me invoice to pay MORE THAN DOUBLE of the original costs because "measurements were not correct". Apparently all measurements were wrong: height, width, depth, weight. I asked them why did the curier deliver the parcel if the service booked was incorrect, I asked about proof of the measurements on curier side. Every asnwer I received was "take pictures of the measurements so we can appeal to UPS" - they want me to take the pictures of the parcel that left my house more than a month ago, and was delivered.

AVOID AVOID AVOID This is a scam operation. I paid £101 to return a shower door and took out the insurance to cover any possible damage. The shower door company received the door in an unsellable condition so I claimed via the insurance. This was their response: "Thank you for your email and the images. Please accept my sincere apology for your damaged parcel delivery. It is with regret that I have to inform you as per our terms and conditions of carriage, we are unable to consider claims where the goods have been moved to another location, which means that we are unable to process your claim for you on this occasion." "Moved to another location?" - YOU'RE A COURIER COMPANY - YOU MOVE THINGS FROM ONE LOCATION TO ANOTHER

Should have read these reviews before using them!! Do not buy with Parcelcompare. Hermes messed up my delivery and damaged the contents which I had to replace costing me over £50! Hermes even admitted fault, but Parcelcompare refuses to compensate me, using the excuse that I didn't purchase their protection insurance. This insurance costs more than the cost of the delivery, and when you add that on Royal Mail has got a better price and cover. It's ridiculous using the insurance excuse when the carrier is CLEARLY at fault, and they admitted so. Also I had paid for next day delivery and the item arrived over a week late! Stay away from this company.

Wouldn't let me cancel my booking, wouldnt let me use the live chat, wouldn't answer my emails. They managed to take the money for it out of my account just fine though 🙄

Total scam as all say...booked a delivery, they generated labels with the wrong address. then had to pay another £7 to correct the labels. The courier didn't turn up despite waiting in all day and they just sent a note saying they did but with no proof. Their website showed as no attempt to collect. Cancelled the delivery and have been charged a cancel fee, Will see if I get my money back at all. And after all that FAR cheaper to go direct to the end courier (if they even actually send anything? Or is this a pure scam?)

Scam Booked a collection-delivery.. Received a collection time No courier turned up after waiting 9 hours After some time attempting to contact them I can’t , no number, no live chat… Address is a P.O. Box and all attempts to cancel take me in a repetitive loop .. Absolute scam , things are getting worse.. to many scam advertisements on google

Avoid - this is a intermediate service, you package effectively goes to their warehouse first to be reviewed BEFORE it is then sent onto a destination. This generates three issues: - You are at the mercy of a courier who's responsibility ends once it gets to ParcelCompare's warehouse (this is the quoted price you initially receive) - ParcelCompare will then send a separate bill (non-quoted) for any additional charges incurred to get the item to it's location including millimeter size or weight differences. THIS IS NOT DISCLOSED TO YOU AS A CUSTOMER. - For any amendments/cancellations they will charge you, EVEN if the item isn't collected. I waited two days for my item to be collected and it never happened. The only way for me to resolve was to cancel, and then got charged for it. This is a fraudulently operating business, they do not DECLARE what part they play in the end-2-end process and are essentially making up reasons to charge you along the way, essentially holding your items hostage. DO NOT give them any cash, bank details, paypal account, they will apply charges without your knowledge and consent. Please READ this! TLDR: It's a SCAM - RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK

For your own good DO NOT USE this company, complete scammers !! Just go direct to any one of the mainstream couriers and save some money / heartache ! this lot shafted me big style.

Please avoid this company at all costs. They would mention that parcel was incorrectly measured and take additional payments by charging your card without your knowledge. Unbelievable!
