do not recommend. Currently sitting at $375 paid out of $250 deductible.

Hi, you have a $250 annual deductible and 80% reimbursement. Your claims have all been paid in your favor and your deductible is met for the year. Have a good day.

Takes forever for claims to get processed, Company seems to be looking for reasons to deny claims. Additionally user interface for filling a claim was changed and is over simplified. Despite issues with the company and changes they seem to be making, the actual customer service staff is excellent. Very patient, extremely nice, and very knowledgeable. Customer service staff is keeping this company afloat in a major way. I hope upper management realizes that.

I am very disappointed with the coverage and customer service. It would be cheaper for me and better for my pet's care to purchase insurance from my clinic. I have communicated with PB via email and telephone. I was only able to click one.

Hi Andrea, the coverage you have is what you selected upon enrollment. We have very basic coverage plans and very comprehensive plans. If you would like a higher coverage plan you will need to cancel your current policy and start a new one. You can do this by giving our sales team a call. Have a good day!

I am not a satisfied customer. I was told on the phone when I called and talked to customer service rep the dental cleaning, etc would be covered under the Wellness program. I received an email with the breakdown of what would be paid and the very next day I get another email saying there will be no reimbursement, nothing will be covered or reimbursed. I paid almost $160.00 to get the dental cleaning, etc covered and now I'm out the full amount of the claim anyway.

Rather disappointing for the amount of monthly premiums what Pet's Best reimbursed me for emergency weekend services for my dog. Of about $600 in services I was reimbursed less than $300. I am reconsidering insurance for mt dog.

Not worth it. Took my dog in for routine check and annual check wasn't covered because she got allergy shot. I didn't take her in for allergy shot, but since I was there I told vet to give her shot.

Visit was covered, prescription was not. Took almost a month to even get a response, still have not been reimbursed

I was disappointed to discover that my lil Sophia's pet health insurance wasn't the best selection. Sophia is a toy poodle and being so small she has several health conditions. Pet's Best did not cover portion of the expenses which was quite costly out of pocket. I tried to contact them but to no avail. They do not answer the telephone nor return calls.

I am having an issue waiting over a month for any information on a $300 bill I submitted. I finally get half an answer and a reimbursement of $40 is pending. I questioned why so little return? I am still waiting on an answer. It is concerning the wait time and not understanding the coverage. I do use Trupanion for my other dog of 11 years but the price was better with Pets best I gues you get what you pay for. I am giving it another month to see if it can be resolved as I get the "COVID" time and short staffed issue. So we will wait and see

Still working on deductible even though puppy was spayed and received all of her shots. Looks like this is catastrophic insurance

Hi William, the deductible is only met with accident and illness claims. You are not required to meet a deductible on wellness coverage, if included, therefore, these items will not apply to the deductible. The accident and illness coverage is for items as minor as an ear infection to more severe issues like cancer.

How can an ear infection is a pre-existing condition? I think you need to review your rules. Very disappointing :-(

Hi Larry, its pre-existing because your pet has a pre-existing diagnosis of allergies. Allergies cause eye, ear, skin, and stomach issues. If you dont agree with your vet's records, you can discuss this information with them and submit an appeal.

Insurance is meant to help you with the unexpected, broken bones, urinary blockages or cancer. Wellness is not insurance, its a benefit meant to help you offset the cost of what you would be spending whether you have insurance or not, so its not going to pay your full bill for these wellness visits.

Pet's Best has deteriorated over the last several years in their claims process. It takes an inordinate amount of time to get an answer and when one does, it is often nebulous/vague. There seem to be too many deductibles, which was not the case in the past. So all in all I am quit dissatisfied and may have to look for an alternative provider.

It takes a long time 3 to 4 weeks at the most to process and approve a claim but it takes 24 hours to decline. Doesn't make sense.

Hi Millie, a claim can take 30-40 days to process depending on the claim. 24 hour to decline a claim is common if the date of service is outside the policy term. Those claims are not eligible for coverage. We hope your claims were processed and your pet is doing well.

Claims take a very long time to be processed. Recently my bank card had to be changed and before the new card was put in place for payment I got a threatening letter that my recent claim would not be honored until my payment was put in place even though the submission of my claim long preceded the problem with my bank card. I eventually got an email that they received my payment. In the interim, I tried to call your customer service and was on hold for twenty minutes.

Hi, this is incorrect. The letter was not telling you the claim would not be honored. It was to let you know your policy would be cancelled if payment was not made. Similar to any other service you carry that requires payment. Your claim was processed and paid in your favor. We hope Autumn is doing better after her accident.

Take to long to process claims. And don't seem to cover anything. Maybe I have the wrong plan but I thought it was one of the better plans they offered.
