“Pricing very competitive. Easy to set up and access account. Personnel on phone are polite and respond quickly to questions. Only thing lacking is pre-approval for a proceedure the veterinarian suggests be done. We can live with that. Just made a claim for updating on vaccinations and a well pet visit and we were surprised that a part of the cost was indeed covered. Like it all , so far.”

“Overall I’m satisfied with PestsBest. Mostly, they pay timely. App is easy to use but not always working and they redirect you to main online site. Claims are easy to submit online and in the app. My only frustration with them is.. My 5 year old Golden Retriever has allergies controlled by medication which was diagnosed prior to coverage. They denied an ear infection claim due to preexisting condition. It was 10 months since the last ear infection. They just assumed it was allergies, didn’t check with his vet to see if this was really allergy related. My other 3 year old Golden Retriever gets ear infections often and doesn’t have allergies. To just assume because one has allergies that caused the ear infection is wrong. Best advice.. insure your animals immediately when you get them so you don’t have preexisting issues. I gave a 4 star review because of their assumption with ear related infections being automatically allergy related. Overall I recommend this insurance all 4 of my relatives with dogs use this insurance.”

“PetsBest was our first and is the only pet insurance provider we had. The online app and communication makes it very easy to accomplish the services we need. The direct deposit feature is fantastic and in the last 2 months, we noticed a much quicker timeframe in approving claims. Last year each claim has been taking approx. 1 month to be approved so I apprecitate the present improved change of pace.”

“I like the coverage and the premium is competitive however some claims do take around a month to process and reimburse which is really annoying. Customer service is also pretty decent however I feel like they need to hire more claims adjusters to get these claims closed out faster.”
