“I have had Pets Best Health Insurance for several years. They are a company that prides themselves on treating the policy holder fairly. I have NEVER had a problem with benefit explanations or payment. Their objective isn’t ‘how can we not pay a claim’ but rather, how can we fulfill our obligations. Sadly, in this day and age, the customer usually is not the priority, but at Pets Best I believe the customer is. I recommend them all the time.”

“Their decisions for denying claims is unfair and baseless. They claimed “pre existing” for my dog I just got insured even though there was zero pre existing symptoms or issues documented. I appealed with letters from 2 vets going on record to say the issues were not pre existing. They denied the appeal again saying it was pre existing. When I asked for proof to show where they found the information to make their decision, the people on the phone can’t answer that. You can’t speak to the appeal dept directly and they don’t respond to emails. I started a second appeal 3 months ago and they told me to wait 90 business days. I reached out for an update and they claimed they never received my 2nd appeal. I have proof it was sent in my sent box. Now they want me to start the process over again. I sent in all they requested and they’re still saying there is no record of my appeal request. This feels like such a scam. I will take this to arbitration if they continue to deny because the facts are there that this is not pre existing. But now I’m getting the run around. I’m starting to think this is on purpose to frustrate and inconvenience me into giving up. Shame on Pets Best.”

“Extremely expensive, my price started at 75$ and now I'm paying 210$ for very small refunds when I bring my dog to the vet I'm looking for a new insurance or I will stop my subscription”

“I gave 4 stars because it shouldn't take over 14 days to get a reimbursement. Sometimes it's more than 30 days. But they do have a good plan for my pet.”

“The mobile app is terrible. It never saves my login credentials so I have to enter them in each and every time. Sometimes claims takes forever to process. My first policy renewal, the rates went up. I wish the overall cost and experience was better”

“Disappointed, promise one thing and them are other. You visit your veterinary worried because your dog has his nodes suelen thinking in the worse, weeks later they need repet same these and they don't cover because they consider wellness, you call explain everything , they tell you are right but nobody give you back your money. And going cancel after three years have the police”

“I am so happy I decided to get insurance when I got my French Bulldog 4yrs ago as she was recently diagnosed with IVDD and to date has had 2 surgeries. I am more then pleased with Pets Best as they came through quickly and efficiently with my claims. I would highly recommend Pets Best for all your fur baby needs. I can't thank them enough for saving my babies life.”
