We have not had much occasion to use our pet insurance yet, thankfully, but I have been happy with Pets Best so far. The online portal is easy to use and submittting records and claims has been very intuitive. In the future, I would like the option of a plan which includes an individual and family deductible for a multi-pet household such as ours.

There had been some uncertainty in the past about claims and what I'm able to claim vs the benefits I pay for, but recently they've been pretty darn good. The day an insurance company figures out that covering some portion of teeth cleaning will win them ALL the clients is the only time that I'd really consider leaving this company.

Very quick to compensate your funds, with the exception of the last one. Be sure to read your policy thoroughly for the details of what is covered & what is not! A puppy’s first year is well worth the extra wellness package imo!!

Most claims are processed in a timely manner. Unfortunately a few have seen to take a long time.

I have been having problems faxing any forms or billing info to Pets Best. I can fax to anyone else with no problem. I now send everything by certified mail. Sometimes processing is speedily sometimes not. When contacting a representative by phone, the person is vey knowlegable and helpful with any issues I have.

Thr Rep I delt with was excellent !! She explained my claims to me in a clear and concise fashion which I understood entirely !! I was not to pleased in the amount of time it took you to process my claim but I know times are different today !! Keep up the good work !!

My pet after several years being healthy developed Addison’s Disease and needs daily prednisone medication and monthly injections to keep His glucocorticoids in balance . Best Pet has been wonderful I partially helping with the vet bills . Thank you You are the Best !

I was happy to see that my dogs emergency hospital stay was completely covered after my 500.00 deductable. The bill was 2000.00. I did only purchase this emergency care contract for just those incidences that are unpredictable. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was due to the a slower turn around for that invoice and many before. Otherwise, very happy with the outcome.

I love pets best insurance but the amount of time it takes for them to process a claim and reimburse is ridiculous. I wish they would improve with that.

easy to file a claim and easy to read the explanation of benefits. Although it often takes longer than they say to process the claim, they always send an email when that happens

t the moment I am a little disappointed as the amount of the refund I am receiving for my pet's surgery is smaller than what I expected and took too long to arrive but I am being paid back only a 3rd of the amount but at least I got paid

Though we have had a generally good experience during our pet’s insurance year, we find that the policy’s annual coverage limits are not effectively keeping up with the increases in vet costs for wellness, medicines and such. We experienced this first hand when our pet was due vaccinations and treatment that would’ve been normally covered except we had come up against their annual limit. This is frustrating as our pet is healthy and only getting her annual wellness requirements met. Pets Best needs to review their current annual limits. As they are currently, we are reviewing the actual cost of our pet’s past year wellness to see if it wouldn’t be more effective to go without insurance that currently cost almost $800 annually.

I know we are in the middle of a pandemic and everything is slowed down. I was surprised that so much of my dog's treatment was not covered since she was really sick (and it took her two weeks to fully recover. I need to reread the contract so I understand what is covered. I will always follow the professions say to do, but I would prefer not to be surprised.

This the first time I have had insurance on my dog. Its new to me. So far it has been good. I don't like not getting my claims mailed back to me. Sometimes I don,t have acress to internet.

The Company is very slow to review and approve or disapprove claims. Somethimes over a month. Also charge deductible at renew and at 6 months. Sould be only 1 deductible for a year.
