“Extremely good coverage but slow in response time to reimbursements. I find my premium for a 10 year old dog to be extremely high.”

“We have insurance with Pets Best for both of our westies: one is a rescued girl, who came to us at age 5 with some ear and skin issues after life in a puppymill breeding gulag; the "baby" was adopted as a puppy from her original owner whose medical problems made raising a puppy impossible. Overall, we have been satisifed with each girl's coverage (differing, due to age and developmental stage), but moreso with the coverage for the younger (which is more comprehensive). Claims have been mostly good, though some "not covered" issues have arisen that were surprises. Payment is pretty rapid, as a reimbursement model, though right now we have one pending for the older dog; while the pup's was turned around faster - even though the former was submitted first.”

“I have always been very happy with Pet's Best!! My dog, Amour has had a liver problem and has seen a few specialists. The bills have been high. The yearly cost has more than paid for itself. Recently it has taken a little TOO LONG to receive our payments!”

“Claims are broken down to the exact details. Doesn't pay out as much as I hoped after $900 pet bill. More than likely will switch due to the fact they address the time frame of the claims being paid out and it's pretty much close to the very end of the time frame. So you are basically waiting over a month or more for an reimbursement. I assumed more than likely most people would rather have faster claims to pay out. Customer service is quick however. I do like the structure of how things are broken down and they appear to pay the lesser of.”

“They were very responsive to my needs. I called them before my dog's surgery and they talked me through all the necessary processes to make sure I was reimbursed the most I could be for the service. All the people I spoke with were helpful and friendly.”

“I submitted my first claim on 12/26/2021 when my dog was attacked by a guest dog and her ear was severely lacerated. I just got notice yesterday that I will receive a check next week. After the deductible and the copays , I will be getting reimbursed for about 60%. I am satisfied because 60% of something is better than 100% of nothing. They kept in touch about the delay in processing the claim. I am satisfied”

“I love the insurance because it helps with wellness and puppies have a lot of wellness needs. The waiting for the claim process is lengthy. I have been waiting over two weeks for one claim to be fully processed. I expected that balance to be covered by now.”

“Sent in many claims in November. Was informed that you needed more info from Vet. Notified them and their office and was told they would fax it immediately. You have never notified me of the status of those claims”

“Overall Pets best did a great job with paying the claim and making the EOBs easy to understand. It would have been nice to have a faster turn around time, but it was still under 30 days which isn’t too bad. Overall very pleased and happy that I was able to be reimbursed for a very expensive emergency surgery.”

“Very easy to file claims and always someone to help you if you have an issue or questions. Disappointed with the large increase in my yearly payment. My dog is older and has many health issues. I am thankful for the coverage, but many years that I did not have to file a claim.”
