“Hello all. Here are my thoughts. I had a pet with a serious infection last year, which was very expensive. Pros: -Submitting claims is easy -I eventually got reimbursed Cons: -The reimbursement took forever. For instance, I submitted on November 11th, I got reimbursed on December 29th. 40 days is way too long. No reason for it to take that long in my opinion.”

“Overall my nine-year experience with Pets Best has been good. It's easy to make a claim online and the turnaround time is decent, sometimes seems long when they owe me money! But they do come through. I was quite shocked to see that the premium for my 12-year-old dog increased to $250 a month before I realized it. I have three animals so I wasn't breaking it down or paying much attention. I ended the policy for my dog at that point but am keeping the cats on. Cecile Marie”

“I have a 4 month old puppy. I recently signed up with Pets Best Wellness Insurance. I was pleasantly surprised after my recent puppy exam and first claim. 88% was covered. Satisfied so far.”

“My experience so far has been good. My first claims took a fairly long time to process (2.5 months) but they were eventually approved and settled without any issue. The online platform is pretty good, though I wish you could better view your submitted claims in an itemized format. Pricing is reasonable, claim submission is fairly easy, and the coverage seems adequate if not above average. Would recommend.”

“So far so good! I’ve only had it for a couple of months and had one claim processed. The EOB was organized and easy to follow. I would like to find a time to chat with someone and go over my first claim, simply because I am new and would like to better understand what I’m looking at. Once I am able to do that, I can reevaluate for 5 stars 😊”

“Pets Best has been wonderful so far! Only complaint is it took a while to get my money back, but my claim was submitted around the holidays so it makes sense it was a bit slower. They are clear about the benefits they will cover and get you a clear understanding of what your benefits will and will not cover.”

“this is the first time I have ever had pet insurance and did not know what to expect. Pets Best customer is very polite and helpful. I did think I was going to have a claim processed faster than it did with less intervention on my part.”

“Overall I have been satisfied and have used Pets Best for a little over 12 years now. Only dissatisfaction is in the last couple of years the turn-time for claims review and payment is really long. I understand that might be due to claims volume and shortage of staff due to the pandemic, but the long turn time for payment is a concern when trying to recover some of our expenses for Veterinarian bills.”
