“While the insurance has been good so far, they take on average 6 weeks to process claim. They have also steadily increased without notification by a significant amount.”

“I love the basics of Pets Best insurance plans we have for our 2 pups. Their staff our knowledgeable and have great attitudes. Although there are a few things I wish were different (speed of claim processing, ability to pay vet clinics directly), I knew this would be different from our prior plans so cannot truly "ding" the company on these items. I truly believe that Pets Best has high quality plans with great coverage. I would encourage folks to check them out.”

“I am very pleased with the insurance we have through Pet's Best for our senior dog. They were the only ones willing to cover a senior we adopted at age 15. Their claims process takes much longer than some other pet insurance companies, but it is fair and clear and they issue payment immediately once the claim is decided. I would recommend Pets Best.”

“Good to work with. Talked to different people about case during 3 calls .All were very friendly . 2 were very knowledgeable ,1 not very helpful.We were told what they needed from my vet. After sending what was asked for I was asked to get more. After all paperwork was satisfied My claim was processed and paid in a timely matter.”

“Very happy with PetsBest. They take very good care of our 5 dogs. In my opinion, they are top of game in a field of pet insurance companies that are all trying to get your business. Communication is outstanding and I’m definitely a long term customer.”

“So far I’ve had a good experience. Everything’s been very clear and submitting a claim is very easy. Only down side is how long it takes to get reimbursed. It took me over a month from the date of vet visit to finally get reimbursed. I know this is typical for pet insurances but still wish it was shorter because we pay for a service for a reason, as many of us may not have cash up front and may need to use a credit card.”

“The only reason I am not rating you as excellent is because of the ridiculous amount of time it takes to get a claim reviewed and processed. When you have spent hundreds of dollars, having to wait six to eight weeks is totally unacceptable.”

“The people who work for Pets Best are caring and explain the policies with clarity. My only regret is it takes quite some time to get your claim settled. I have no regrets with being their client though. Great folks.”

“About 6 months after we adopted our senior dog, she started getting age-related health problems that required a LOT of vet bills. Pets Best helped us afford her care and give her a better quality of life. They do unfortunately have a long wait time for processing claims, but it's still worth it.”

“The customer service by phone and email is very courteous, cordial and helpful. They iknew the details of my policy and could answer all of my questions. However, it takes a looong time to get claims processed. Also, the cost seems to be increasing each year upon renewal and while I guess that's to be expected at intervals and as the pet ages, I am wondering how high it is going to go and if it is going to be worth it to maintain the insurance.”
