“We have been very satisfied with the policy provided by Pets Best. Their coverage is great and the process to file claims is extremely simple. They also have one of the most competitively priced policies with no sacrifice in coverage.”

“It has been my experience that the claim response time of most of the claims that I have submitted to Pets Best have on average, taken much longer than my previous pet insurance claims response times through Nationwide. I could expect a response within two weeks in most cases and sometimes as soon as one week. I'm not sure if you're understaffed or just looking for reasons not to cover claims, but please put your focus on speeding up your claim responses to your clients. Thank you for listening.”

“Pets Best does reimburse well for covered items. I just wished they processed claims faster, and once the decision has been made to reimburse, to do that faster. Their claims and payment process is notably slower than other carriers.”

“Pet’s Best was a lifesaver for this last year of my best fur friend’s life. He had three surgeries in one year and then passed quickly from cancer. It was so comforting to know they would support his vet bills. They are always so prompt and efficient, but kind at the same time. We are forever grateful.”

“I had a positive experence with Pet's Best. They delivered on their promises an an efficent manner. I found dealing with them relatively easy and payments were generally recieved within 7 days of reporting the claim. My one complaint is there were parts of the enrolment process that were not intirely clear, and I ended up enrolling for less coverage than I intended. Read everything carefully and ask questions before you enroll.”

“Pets Best accepted the claim I submitted for my dog’s acute gastritis treatment without a lot of hassle. The only downside is that it took 1 month to process my claim. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service.”

“1 you need to be a doctor to file a claim. 2 the way the reimbursement is broken down is not easy to understand and 3 it took you way to long to process it and i barely was able to pay for all the vsits financially with what cashflow i had available to me. My pet could have simply died because i might have not had enough money to pay for the tests that may have discovered the issue waiting around for your reimbursement to come. its been ove a month nearly and i came out of pocket 2,500 to run the exams; You need to streamline this or the death or worsening of an illness is on you that could have easily been avoided. maybe implement some kind of copay that clearly says it is not promised and if it is not approved you are on the hook for it with a signature.”

“Purchased for 2 yo rescue dog and 1 week later he overate grass and leaves which became impacted. Pets Best reviewed claim and paid without much ado other than reviewing his history. Easy claims process and obviously it's paid for itself much sooner than expected.”

“When i signed up my fox red lab, River, for pet's best insurance, he was about 10 weeks old and it was $35/month for unlimited reimbursement at 80%, with $250 deductible. Each year he has gotten older the price has gone up, despite little no no claims. When he turned 4 this summer, I received my renewal notice that my monthly would be going up from $53 to $78/month. He is only 4. Not only that, but on his 3rd birthday, they sneakily decreased my reimbursement percentage from 80% to 70%. Yes I have proof. Also - the % going towards deductible is decreasing while copay is increasing, making it nearly impossible to meet the deductible and get any sort of reimbursement, unless there is a catastrophic event. Needless to say I will not be renewing and will be going with Metlife which offers more/better coverage at the same price I was paying when he was 3.”

“It’s how health insurance should be for humans. Get a bill and send it in. Paid usually in weeks. Always paid within the 90 day window. No denial or delays. Have had some big bills. Not sure if they will make money in this pet’s lifetime. Will use for every pet from now on.”
