“Although pets best takes awhile longer to process claims than my other dogs insurance. Their customer service is very quick to get through to and always helpful. I had an expensive eye surgery for my dog, which was actually the second surgery as the first one failed. They paid all of it except my co pay. I am very happy about that!”

“They cover what is in the policy. They email when a claim is received but it seems to take a very long time for reimbursement from the time the claim is received.”

“Pets best has great insurance at a great price. Really like they they offer a wellness plan that many don't offer that assists in maintaining our dog healthy. My only complain it's that time from submission of claim to time of reimbursement it's about 4 weeks, which I find to be very slow. That's an area Pets best needs to improve. Otherwise a great all around plan for my pet”

“They refunded me almost the entire amount of a wellness visit! The only downside and reason why I took a star was because it took almost two months. They did email me and say they were behind so there is that.”

“Overall very good. Wellness claims are paid very quickly but the turn around times on accident/illness claims for us has been about a month. I think we've had three of these claims (we have 3 pets insured) and they have all been about a month. That seems a bit long.”

“So far I have appreciated receiving some funds returned for Samson’s wellness exam and vaccinations. I won’t know the full benefits of Pets Best unless he has a major ailment or injury and I truly hope that does not happen. Thank you!”

“Costly monthly charges, along with deductibles and co-pays are financially cumbersome. Reimbursement is slow in coming. On a positive note, the staff are courteous and helpful.”
