It took about 1 month to get reimbursed after filing our first claim after our pup got sick and had to go to the vet twice and get two xrays and medications. We were reimbursed fairly minus our deductible and copay so overall we were happy with Pets Best insurance.

Reasonably priced. The claim processing timeline can get better. Most of the money i spent on my pet was paid back. Atleast the first claim I submitted was processed based on the insurance guidelines. I will see how the rest of the 2 claims gets processed as they were after most of the benefits kicked in. But overall as positive experience.

When I first signed up for Pets Best insurance I was under the impression that I would be able to upgrade my plan at any time. I was unsure if I wanted to get my dog fixed or not so when I added the wellness plan I added the Best wellness plan and after I decided I want to get him fixed I tried to upgrade it to the essential wellness however at that time they told me I was not allowed because I had a claim put through and that was nowhere mentioned in any of the things I’ve read (that I would have to wait a year to upgrade the plan after a claim was put in) so I had to cancel it and start over. However when I did cancel it they did refund me a portion of the payment that I already made because it was in the middle of the month and now we are in smooth sailing. I did receive a payment already for his vet bill and they covered the entire bill which was nice.

Signing up for Pet’s Best was so simple, and I think the price per month is fair for the amount of coverage. I am happy that they are senior-dog friendly. Our sweet dog recently needed teeth extracted, and we were able to reduce a $2000 out-of-pocket bill to just $600. The claim processing time is lengthy, but not burdensome. I have recommended Pets Best to my friends!

Communication seems well done. I've been able to navigate the process pretty well because of the simple straightforward steps towards submitting a claim. Pets Best communication response has been timely, keeping me informed of what's happening to the claim or if there's been a change in the premium.

We have the accident/illness insurance only. We have filed numerous claims with Pets Best for both of our dogs for treatment of minor illnesses to potentially catastrophic accidents. With Pets Best, I have never once hesitated to bring my dog to the vet, or to agree to medically necessary treatment due to cost. We must meet a yearly deductible, and we do pay monthly premiums, as well as a copay for each visit. We have saved several hundred dollars over the past two years. With that being said, I am quick to seek help from our vet, and our dogs are very mischievous. If neither situation applies to you, the expense may not be worth it. They do stipulate conditions diagnosed prior to acquiring insurance are not covered. We purchased insurance for our puppies at a very young age, so this has not been an issue for us, but may be for others. Overall, I would recommend pets best insurance to other animal owners with the above caveats.

I enjoy getting reimbursed for services through pets best. I however think it would be more helpful if you could select multiple services for one invoice. So I did take my cat in for a routine vaccine, but the doctor found something else she wanted to address and I could not pick more than one type of claim for that one invoice. I would also like to know from you sooner if you need more information, and what is taking so long for a claim to be processed.

They seem to be fair about reimbursement policies. It is very easy now to upload a claim and the money gets directly deposited into my bank account, making it very convenient. It does take about a month to be reimbursed; I wish this could be sped up, but all in all I feel I have a good policy.

This is a good insurance to have, they pay. The only thing is that you have to wait over 30 days (one month) to get reimburse.

Pets Best has always covered everything we believed should have been covered. Customer service has always been great. The only reason I give 4 stars rather than 5 is they have recently taken much much longer to approve and pay claims. Claims used to be processed in 2 weeks and not its taking over a month.

Low cost. Offers wellness plan. Only problem is very very slow processing claims. Over a month time frame. So far so good though have only used wellness benefit.

Pets Best is probably one of the best pet insurance companies available. They are caring and responsive. However, they just got too expensive and I couldn't afford the premium anymore.

Your program with regard to repayment checks has truly fallen backward. Years ago when I began insuring my fur babies, your response time was 3 days. NOW its 3+ weeks, typically 4. I'm not at all happy with this lag in my returns. You certainly take my monthly payments quickly. It's hard to refer Pets Best with the turnaround time you now offer.

Pets Best has always been very prompt at paying claims. Now however, they are much slower. I still like the company and their representatives are great when you call in with a question or problem. Because of the slowness of payment I could not rate them "very good."
