“The response time to my claim was fast and I liked that I could track the progress in my Pets Best app. My coverage reimbursement was directly deposited into my checking account within 24 hours of receiving the email that the claim was closed.”

“Based on my plan, I've gotten back every dime I was entitled to. But it takes 40+ days to get your money. Customer service is excellent as well. As long as you don't mind waiting, you get everything you'd want. Just a year & half ago, I got my check within 2 weeks. Uncertain what changed, maybe a few more hires would help.”

“The amount of time between submitting a claim and getting reimbursed has increased since we have been a member. It would be nice if Pets Best could get back to where they were turning around claims in a week.”

“I would give a “very good” but it takes very long for a claim to be adjudicated. Even before Covid-19 claims took a while to be processed. Other than this I am happy with pets best health insurance”

“Had Pets Best for several years for our late cat Jet and our late dog Ava. A very competitive pet insurance company exceeding customer service and satisfaction more so than many other companies. Only regret was when our dog Ava had to be put down because her Cancer consumed her and our Vet came to the house to perform that service, Pets Best would not cover that part of the Vets bill approx. ($180). I'm assuming now, had we taken Ava to the Vet's office for that same service it would have been covered by our policy. Even though Ava was too sick to travel there and it was so much more compassionate for the Vet to come to us that day.”

“The app is pretty easy to work/use and very convenient for filing a claim. The turnaround time could be better on claim processing - but understandable right now due to the pandemic. Overall pretty good coverage and support.”

“Overall the insurance is pretty good. I was a little disappointed with the amount of reimbursement but something is better than nothing. The response time on claim processing is more than two weeks, however, I do receive a notification at about the two week period that there is a delay.”

“I’ve never had Any problems with the customer service and timeliness of payment; when I called this past time I was really disappointed. The girl that answered didn’t bother to ask me the name of my pet, my name, and sounded like I was really just interrupting her and whatever she was doing. She was very disinterested in helping me with any of my questions that I had, I was just really not happy.”

“I had 8 claims with petbest last 2 months (2puppies). Our first claim was taken a long 6 weeks to reimburse. But after that they were shorted the time to 4 weeks then last one was only 2 days. I’m really impressed with their latest reimbursement time. I guess they finally have more agents to sort out claims. And they are the most reasonable cost pet ins around. About a month ago my 10 months old puppy had to spent 4 days in emergency Vet hospital cost $2400. Pet beat reimbursed three week later 90%. Takes a awhile but you will get your reimbursement”

“For several years I paid premiums but didn’t need it. This year my girl had a couple of issues. Pets Best paid exactly what my choice of policies said they would pay. They ended up paying an amount that was more than this year’s premium and another year or two prior premiums. Well worth it to me.”
