“It took a little longer than expected (3months ) & notifications /communication could be improved, that said, once got confirmation they had received all info. Clearly, I was grateful for the help towards my pets surgery. Sincerely Anna”

“I really want to love this pet insurance. My first claims were paid quickly but since then, they take at least a month. I received an alert that claims were taking longer to process because of volume, one in the fall and then again in the winter. Premium cost is not high, paid claims are fair, and the pet helpline is great. I wish claim payment was as fast as my first 8 months.”

“Tory has been covered by PetsBest since 2013. Have always been very happy. Sad to see cost raise as she ages. Seems over priced now.”

“I HAVE BEEN WITH THIS COMPANY FOR YEARS AND JUST RECENTLY NOTICED THAT THE FEEDBACK, AFTER YOU SEND IN A CLAIM, IS REALLY VERY, VERY LONG. I CALLED IN TWICE, ONCE 2 WEEKS AFTER SENDING IN CLAIM, THEN CALLED 25 DAYS LATER AND WAS TOLD THEY RECEIVED MY CLAIM BUT HADN'T SENT THE NOTICE LETTING ME KNOW AS YET. 15 YEARS AGO I WOULD GET A NOTICE IN A WEEK, ONCE CLAIM WAS PROCEED. I RECEIVED RECEIVED A CHECK FOR MY CLAIM ABOUT 7 - 10 DAYS LATER. THOSE I TALKED TO AT PETS BEST WERE REALLY NICE AND SAID IN THE FUTURE IT MAY TAKE 40 DAYS TO LET ME KNOW THEY HAVE RECEIVED A CLAIM FROM ME. WOW, THAT'S A LONG TIME. I DO LIKE THIS COMPANY AND PLAN TO HAVE MORE DOGS BUT UNSURE OF SIGNING WITH THEM AGAIN, IF CLAIMS TAKE SO LONG TO PROCESS.”

“Have always covered what my pet needs. When I’ve called to clarify or verify what may be covered they have always been very pleasant and helpful. My only gripe is that recently it has taken much longer for claims to be processed. It used to only take about 10-14 days but now it may take more like 30-40 days. As I’ve had unexpected medical conditions with both my dogs I’m really glad I chose pets best.”

“With the price I pay which is over $220/month. I would hope that claims could be processed in less than the month my last claim took. Prices have went up and level of service has went down. Sad trend and I use to love Pets Best.”
