“Claims taking too long to process. Claims process on line easy efficient process.”

“The period of time required for claim review can be excessive. Also, the annual wellness limit could be higher given the number of vaccines, etc. required for dogs, especially under two years of age. However, the premium is reasonable and the customer service is good.”

“I would have given them a very good up until the last year but they have gotten very slow on reimbursement for payments up to a month now they say they are working on it hopefully that’s true.. otherwise good company I have had 3 dogs covered last 9 years”

“My only complaint after all these years is that this last claim I filed in January took one month to process. Other than that, absolutely wonderful!”

“I have had Pets Best for 11 years. The best part of having this insurance is how quick they paid claims. The reason I did not give a 5 rating is because they are now taking over a month to pay the claims and they have increased the premiums significantly every year especially the last 3 years due to all the claims they have had to pay out from policyholders.”

“Usually a 5 star review for this company but Wellness Claims are taking way too long to be settled. Used to be a 4 day turnaround but now close to 19 days. If I hadn’t called to find out the status I probably would still be waiting. What happened to the speedy turnaround??”

“Generally I would have said VERY GOOD as I have in the past years BUT you questioned me on one of my claims this time- til I made YOU call the vets to verify that I had paid them!You have since OK'ed the claim and it is the smaller one that you are now paying. SO-all's well that ends well. Thank you Frank Fleischer”

“i've always been impressed with the company and their response to claims. However, the reason I didn't give you a 5 is that I've seen slippage in the time to adjudicate claims. Routinely it seems that claims are taking over a month to process. Not good. It used to be much shorter.”

“I like the service and the customer care, but I do think the policies for wellness are expensive and do not cover much. I will probably reconsider the wellness policy for next term or look for a different insurer that offers better wellness policies.”

“I almost provided a 5 star review. The only issues that we have is the length of time it takes to process claims. Pretty much every time we process a claim, we get an email that there will be delays. The most recent claim took just over 30 days. It's no the end of the world, and claims are reviewed fairly and in line with policy expectations, so really we are very happy with the quality of the insurance. It just seems that if you have had long delays for at least a year, something needs to be improved. Aside for that, it's a great plan.”

“Pets Best Insurance has been a good insurance to have. I appreciate the 24/7 chatline available to address any medical concerns. I've used it more than once. The rates are good also. The only thing that needs improvement is the turnaround time after submitting a claim.”
