Their web site is very easy to navigate and I'm happy with the coverage we have for all our pets. Some of the claims take a little longer to process but overall its been a great coverage for our pets.

I have tried several times to submit a claim for an ongoing unknown illness for my dog, and it keeps saying I am logging in from a new device. I have had the same computer for YEARS, and it never actually sends an email to verify the device. So I can't log in to submit the claim, PAY MY BILL, etc. Also, no word on the remibursement status, it takes A VERY LONG time to get reimbursed for claims. Or even to find out if they are being reimbursed or not. That being said , so far the premiums have been reasonable compared to other companies, but the website is terrible and if I am not going to get reimbursed I could have just put this money into a savings account. Insurance in general is quite the disappointment.

Both the app and the website perform terribly. Most of the time I am unable to log in so I cannot submit a claim or check status. This week there are system errors that the site says are intermittent but I have tried every day multiple times and I cannot access. Huge waste of time and frustrating. Even worse is that claims are denied that should be covered and as a customer I have no recourse. Additionally, for most claims the processing time has prolonged delays

They changed the rules and also increased the prices. I don’t like the wait time for all the claims and neither the resolution.

Too many delays processing claims, then deny claims based on information they request from you. Communication is terrible and not fully satisfied with how things are handled.

I like the insurance, but I wish you would pay more of the costs. It is helpful though, and comforting to know if my cat or dog gets very sick, a lot of the vet bill would be covered.

I used to have no complaints. Claim processing was quick, and there were no issues. The portal has now been down for over two weeks, and there is no way to file a new claim or even just update an existing one. I keep receiving e-mails requesting additional information for an existing claim, but keep getting an error message when trying to upload the requested info. Very frustrating.

Claims take way too long to process. I have Trupanion for my other pets and the process is seamless and smooth and I have been reimbursed in days. With Pets Best it is weeks or months if at all. They seem to spend more time looking for ways to deny your claim than process it. I did give two stars as they have reasonable pricing however it comes with a price of waiting forever for reimbursement if at all

Always a reason why the “sick visit” isn’t covered. Been stuck in a loop for over a week, can’t log in, does not send a link to my email. I have called twice to be told making “upgrades” to their services. Haven’t been able to submit a claim- very frustrating.

I love PetsBest health insurance! We had it with our first dog Ajax his entire life. It was a life saver towards the end when he had knee surgery and a few years later he got cancer. It was worth every penny to have the peace of mind of pet insurance. Now with our new pup Lexi, I decided to get it when she was just 4 months old. I was tempted to wait a while since she's so young I thought, but guess what?!?! One day Lexi decided to eat some toilet paper and got an obstruction. Thankfully she was already insured and as always, PetsBest came through for us. I highly recommend this for dogs any age!
