I pay so much in premiums every month for many years and to get less than 30% of my pet's yearly bill paid is absurd. I will be leaving Pets best soon enough, total ripoff.

The lack of cummunication during the assessment of the claim was incredibly frustrating. Sending canned "your pending claim is delayed" is not enough. I called 3 times to get help, starting with the uploading process as your system glitched and created a duplicate entry (which I later found out is a common issue through comments online from other customers). The first time, the agent was wonderful and helpful. The other 2 times, I was given incorrect information about the pending claim and had to resubmit documents that were already received. It felt like the agents had no idea what was going on and were working off a script that they refused to get off of. It took almost 4 weeks to get an answer on the first claim we submitted and if I had not stayed on top of calling almost weekly for updates, I guarantee it would have taken longer. In the meantime there was of course no delay in collecting your fees. This claim wasn't even for anything super complex- my dog had gastrointestinal issues that were resolved with meds. This is our first experience with pet insurance and we are incredibly disappointed. We are looking into our options and considering switching insurance companies. Additionally, it's ironic that you list the Live Chat as a method of communication in this survey as it never works!

This company is amazing. So long as you have your animal insured early on they have the most expansive coverage. They make timely payments.

Just submitted my first claim and Pets Best made it simple and easy. Also, they responded very quickly to my claim and the reimbursement was sent right out. I would definitely recommend Pets Best to anyone.

Wonderful pet insurance company. Had all the best strait forward infomation of claim submission - reinbursement invoices. I expected the reinbursments to take a bit of time for accuracy and of course depending on what treatments my pups have had. My mother and my friend added this pet insurance for their pups. Recommend to anyone with pets.

Pets Best Insurance is a good insurance. I have been shopping around and they are the lowest price that I could find. They take a bit long to pay out but they are reasonable. I highly recommend them. I have seen other insurance companies that are terrible, so I'm pleased with this company.

The staff at Pet's Best are responsive and helpful when I have a question. Claims are usually addressed in a timely fashion, and if there is a delay, I do get an email telling me that.

I just wish blood tests would be covered. Preventative medicine is smart and nothing seems to be covered.

this is the second time that i submitted a claim to Pets Best (PB). The first claim which was a check up and vaccination was not accepted until i provided them records from my dogs previous veterinarian , which took several weeks to obtain. the second occasion was rejected because PB again wants a record from dogs veterinarian which was already provided more than 6 months ago. it's somewhat confusing that i've been paying for this insurance and they denied the claim requiring documentation that they have already been provided. i'm totally confused if my dog actually has insurance or not, especially since i have been paying for it for over a year.

The company and its employees are caring and understanding. I appreciate if I have questions, they take the time to explain the reasoning and if they notice a mistake, they reprocess claims.

I’ve only had Pet’s Best for a short while, but have been very pleased so far. They were suggested by the veterinary technician at my vet. My plan, which included the wellness program, began on the same day I took my new dog to the vet. No problem with coverage and I received a check promptly for initial shota and tests. Customer service has been very helpful.

This company declines more claims than they pay out. I never had this issue at my old insurance company. You get what you pay for.

Claims take too long to settle and an apology email always preceeds the settlement stating that it took too long.....Just recently they denied coverage of a drug my pet has been taking since a young pup and that they have paid for years. Hiring inexperienced claims processors... Made me file an appeal, supported by years of medical records only to quickly over turn the denial after you saw how careless your mistake was. Not a happy customer.

So far so good. I’ve submitted several claims that were processed quickly and explanations to whether the claims were approved or denied. Well worth the money at this point .

Affordable plans that cover everything. Quick reimbursement. My only complaint is that once we started making claims for my dog's specialty and allergies, the monthly price almost doubled.
