“Two claims. All backup sent. Kept getting claims notices of missing documentation when it was sent. Then got email from ceo indicating problems with a system cutover and latest email apologizing for delays with my claim”

“I looked on consumer reports for the top pet insurance companies, Pets Best is one of them. I am a retired Firefighter, in California, so everything is expensive, but, I have found that Pets Best is a good value for the price. It's not cheap, but, it's been reliable, and for the most part, reimbursement is fairly fast. I have recommended Pets Best to family members and friends. You know none of us want to use the insurance (except for check ups) but, it has helped my pup, and I through some health issues. Thanks Pets Best!”

“I am stymied by a common anti parasitic drug not being covered/not in your formulary and therefore not even satisfying the deductible. I am flummoxed by an emergency room visit for a bleeding dog not being covered.”

“I have had 2 claims so far with Pets Best ( 1 for each of my Frenchies) and have had not had any major issues! The customer service team is friendly but I had one who was not super knowledgeable about their internal processes but it was not a deal breaker. This place does their homework, they communicate and the process is super easy! Highly recommend them!!”

“Our five year old dog had his teeth cleaned and the vet said he had some loose teeth that should be removed. Almost all of the bill was not covered because Pets Best said that it was a preexisting condition. Two years before this he had his teeth cleaned and the vet said he had no issues. That was before we started the insurance. We started the insurance about six months after that first procedure and now they are claiming that it was preexisting. We don’t believe that we have been treated fairly.”

“My claims are always decisioned timely and if there is any delay, they provide timely updates. I wish my other pet was also on this plan but she was insured prior to me knowing about Pets Best”
