I almost think PetsBest tries to avoid any contact and does not do there part willingly. My claim was paid but not a suction/feeding tube. I requested an appeal. I obtained medical records but was unable after 3 different attempts to forward them for review. I called and waited 1/2 hour to talk to someone who gave me a gauranteed email... that failed too.

They have been unable to fix their significant website issues for weeks now. Unacceptable. They are slow to pay large claims. Their customer service representatives are very professional and polite, bu their back office personnel clearly struggle to perform satisfactorly.

Pets Best makes it really easy for us to submit claims and get the care that we need for our pet. Peggy was a rescue and we knew nothing about her background, but we knew that she had some previous injuries probably from mistreatment. That’s best covered everything that happened to her afterwards, including two different types of cancer and some arthritis. We would’ve had to make a very different decision with our pup if we didn’t have Pets Best—they gave us the peace of mind that we could ensure she gets the care that she needs. At the time we didn’t know that her one year survival rate was estimated at 10 to 15%, but two years later, she is still an energetic and feisty dog, cancer free!!

So far it's been working great. Just don't like every year the payments go up. My dog just got diagnosed with diabetes and cushions disease. With the insurance helps with so much

Normally I would have given a higher score, but i have not been able to login to my account since September 2025. I had to send in a claim online as I could not get into the account after talking to customer support. Please be more mindful and provide better communication when you are experiencing technical issues with the customer portal.

My pet has ongoing pharmacy needs, all I do is upload my receipt and I get the refund into my bank account. Its very easy to submit claims and get reimbursed this way. Also I have done this for specialty visits and ER visits. Everything that is in my contract to be covered, gets reimbursed with no issues.

I'm extremely disappointed in the fees that are implemented for submitting claims. I have 2 dogs now 8 & 9 years old, that I have had insured with Pets Best Insurance since they both were 8-9 weeks of age, both have Full coverage +Wellness Care Plan & The Premium has more than Doubled for both of my dogs. It's getting to the point where I can't afford it anymore.

For 2025 the best..Insurance was critically needed for 4 year old australian labradoodle (NYC) who was ill for numerous reasons and Pets Best came through with contracted amount -soooo happy. For other years barely made the dedcutible for illness, but this year amazing...
