“I’ve had a great experience with Pets Best. Their claims process is clear, and I’ve never had any issues getting reimbursed. They respond quickly, keep me updated, and even contact my vet directly when needed so I don’t have to. Very reliable and easy to work with.”

“If my pet wasn’t at such an advanced age and the coverage wasn’t done though my employer, I’d never use Pets Best. From months of issues with being able to access the website and app, difficulty submitting claims, always a delay in processing them, this is is by far the worst pet insurance company I’ve used.”

“While Pets Best is great about the coverage they provide, they are sorely lacking in the processing of claims. Except for rare occasion, my submission for weekly acupuncture and laser treatment for my Bernese Mountain Dog is exactly the same. Same vet practice, same vet, same -although at times one or two different or addional acupuncture points. I have been submitting claims for the same thing but it can take anywhere from a week to a month to process the claims. I personally can handle the charges while waiting for reimbursement but not everyone can do so.”

“I’ve had good experiences. The claims processing sometimes does take a while. For example one of the three claims I submitted in a row is still sitting pending while the others were handled. I do also think the rate increases are quite extreme year by year. For example my rental just jumped about $270 a year for my 4 year old dog. I am familiar with insurance and rate increases but feel every year is a large jump”

“I have this insurance for my 2 yorkies for several years. Lately I had to use it since my dog got sick. So far is good, the only issue is that it takes a bit longer to get the refund. The rest is good 👍”

“When my dog accidentally ingested something containing xylitol amd I had to take her to the emergency vet. It was very expensive and after several hours the vet was unable to save her. After going through that tragedy Pets Best made the claims process extremely easy. I was reimbursed before my credit card bill even generated. They definitely made a very difficult time less stressful. If you are contemplating getting pet insurance, I highly recommend Pets Best.”

“Honestly I wish I never signed with this insurance. They are the WORST pet insurance I’ve ever used. They consistently take close to a month to complete a claim, everything goes to a deductible so you don’t get hardly any money back EVER, the website is atrocious and constantly has issues. I do not recommend whatsoever. I’m looking into other options. I don’t wish to stay with them”

“I've been advocating pet insurance to friends and family for years now thanks to my expierience with Pets Best. K9 cancer is sadly on the rise and even the most non-invasive treatment options are expensive. Pets best has given us incredible peace of mind knowing we can give our dog his best shot at a healthy life and choose whats best for him.”

“Our experince with PetsBest the past few years has been a huge disappointment. The client portal does not work, necessitating mailing or faxing of claims. Pets Best is aware and has not fixed it for 9 months.We have spoken to them multiple times. Claims take weeks to months to process. Reimbursement is NOT timely.At this time I can not recommend PetsBest for you pets insurance needs.”

“Pets best is an excellent insurance. The representatives do their best to help me whenever I have a technical problem or I have a question about a quote. The payments are quick and go directly into my account, and they inform me every time there will be a deposit. My Prince and I thank them for their help with expenses.”

“I waited over a month before my claim was resolved. Naphtali was adopted and when asked I sent over the adoption date....it still took another 2 weeks for them to resolve it”

“I have been with Pets Best for years. We never had to worry about how or if we could afford to treat our pets. We knew Pets Best was there. They paid our claims in a timely manner. Pet insurance can be costly, but vet bills are increaslng getting higher and higher. Pets Best gave us peace of mind if our pet needed care we are able to afford to get it for them. Also, their agents are alway helpful and easy to talk with.”
