“On occassion the website for claims submittal has some glitches. Overall however, I give them 4.5 stars. We only had to appeal one claim and that was resolved. I recommend Pets Best.”

“The reimbursement rate takes too much time. I signed up for the higher cost policy, which seems to constantly deny reimbursement for items that seem to within the policy reimbursement items.”

“I could not have chosen a better pet insurance for Presley than Pet's Best. They are always prompt and fair about filing her insurance and they have made our life so much easier. It means so much to know that this company cares about our pet's wellfare and that they have our back. I would recommend Pet's Best to anyone who is looking for some good and reasonable pet insurance. With the high cost of living, Pet's Best gives me peace of mind.”

“Very untrustworthy company. After a whole year of "on time direct payments" on my part "without" filing any claims, I finally do. Normal stuff. Well, well, now we seem to have issues with uploaded info from me that I saw clearly, and they stated received, but somehow, all of a sudden, not there. Follow with calls and an email. Just horrible. Like your money, though!”

“We were pleased that Pets Best paid out on our claim. Filing the claim was an ordeal though, with multiple rejections with only sketchy explanations. We were told twice to send in new paperwork via email, only to find that return emails saying that our information was received didn't mean that it was actually read and dealt with. And then we were told as an aside that we could re-post on the web. We did and things moved quickly.”

“They do not know what they are reviewing. Too many emails. They ask for information for a whole year of service from the vets. Its provided. They do not use dates that were submitted for surgery. They go off of something from the year they asked for. Very disappointed.”

“I have had Pets Best Pet Insurance on two of my other animals and they have always had my pets in mind. When I my Koda boy got sick they were there when I needed them the most and processed his claims very quickly. I now have a new puppy and he is also insured with Pets Best, I wouldn't have any other pet insurance.”

“When our 2 year old Cardigan had to go in for surgery it was pretty unsettling. When the issue rapidly progressed and it became urgent that the surgery needed to happen sooner, the last thing you would want to stress about is the astronomical cost and focus more on the issue at hand. We had invested in (and highly recommend if affordable) a lower deductible, higher co pay plan which took what would have been a near 5 figure surgery and made it much more manageable. The customer service team couldn’t have been more accommodating when I called to verify that everything needed was present. Although a little noncommittal when indicating if a procedure is covered / preexisting (understandable that this could cross different departmental lines) they did their best to help me categorize and gather any additional information to expedite the process. The claim was processed and a EOB was sent within 10 business days detailing every line item. The reimbursement followed almost immediately. I can’t speak highly enough about how this experience really impressed me with PetsBest and I would highly recommend since it’s a near guarantee that something unexpected is going to happen with your fur baby and the last thing you’ll want to worry about is about is the skyrocketing cost of surgery.”
