“They have always paid just as they state in your policy. It is so helpful to know an emergency won't break the bank and insurance won't make excuses for not covering. I give 4 stars instead of 5 only because my recent claim took much longer to process than the other single time I used it several years ago. Back then it was just a matter of 2 weeks, more it took closer to 2 months. Also, I noticed that they have been acquired by another company, so hopefully, that doesn't mean they will decline in quality. Overall I am very happy with their service so far.”

“They don’t pay much much of the claim and process is slow! Then they raise the rate higher. Don’t bother to pay extra for preventive care, they don’t pay much either”

“We have used Pets Best for a few years now and until recently have used for wellness visits with reimbursements provided in a timely manner. As of late, my boxer was tested for an adrenal tumor which is causing Cushions. Now my boxer goes in for routine blood test and takes medications daily. The reimbursement process took longer than a month in some higher submitted claims. Also, as of this month our premium was increased due to "our location" by a hundred dollars a month for my boxer and thirty dollars a month for our shepherd. Now that our boxer has a preexisting condition, it will be extremely difficult to switch insurance companies. Their solution was to lower our deductible which beware, can never be raised in the future. Overall this is disheartening to deal with when tending to a sick pet. The app works great now that the lengthy system upgrade is in place. Customer service is friendly and responsive to my concerns but did not speed up my reimbursements nor resolve the unreasonable rate increase. Not sure about the delivery question portion of this service, we had no deliveries.”

“I highly recommend this insurance for any dog parent! The service has been great and the app is incredibly easy to use. The claims process is very straightforward—it takes no more than 5 minutes to submit everything. They have very good communication and keep you updated throughout. Five stars for making things easy for me and Whiskey!”

“The people I ha e dealt with have been awesome. The website however needs alot of work!! Can't file claims on the website. I have never had pet insurance before and decided to get it for my new kitten. SO SO SO happy I did . My kitten at 12 weeks of age was found to have diabetes insepidus (sp) . So we are into weekly visits at 140.00 each .medicines at over 100.00 and the initial vet visit for the condition was close to 800.00 so yeah the Insurance has been a God send!!!. My baby is worth every penny I spend on him !!”

“Couldn’t be happier or more grateful for Pets Best. Our dog got cancer early on and thanks to Pets Best; we were able to afford chemotherapy. Two years later, he’s still thriving! (Very user friendly too!)”

“I've been pretty disappointed with Pets Best insurance. We have three different pet insurance carriers and of the three, they're the slowest to reimburse by far. They also are the only company that insists that we provide proof of delivery of medications ordered and paid for. This stipulation isn't even enforced every time, so the consistency is lacking. The turnaround time on claims is really the worst. It consistently takes them nearly an entire month to process.”

“For the most part, I'm pretty satisfied with Pets Best but trying to speak to someone live was quite unsuccessful. I don't recall in the past that this was a major ordeal. I never could get through to anyone and finally got an answer to my question via email. Also, your claims processing took way too long. I had to come up with a cash payment to the Veternarian and interest on my credit card was terrible once I received my claim reimbursement. You probably need to hire more people to speak live to and others to process your claims a lot quicker.”

“Deceptive, delaying & downright despicable = NO help to aid the burden of caring for a pet. Before I started payments, I inquired about coverage, deductibles, … to compare, only decided when it appeared best option to internal vet coverage. 2 years of premiums and no claim, 1st claim a nightmare - 3 resubmissions to get $35 for a $609 expense. I could not get them to respond when then increased premiums from $121 to $143.”
