“Initially I thought this insurance policy was pretty good but lately they are nickel and diming me for everything. My last claim one of the items on the invoice is listed as tech’s exam. They denied it because they said our vet didn’t perform the exam. Anyone working in that office is working under the vet’s license. Think twice before signing up with this insurance company.”

“They process my claim in a timely manner and deposit into my account once approved. After I upload the doucments for my claim, they review and then process for payment. I have both the Wellness and Illness/Injury policy and it save me money for regular check-ups and vaccinations.”

“Pets best pet health insurance has an easy to use app. You can easily file a claim. Reimbursement usually comes within a week or 2. The claims forms are easy to read and understand what’s covered and what is not I highly recommend pets best health insurance !”

“I’ve used Pets Best dog insurance for years for my dogs. I can walk into a vet appointment confidently knowing Pets Best is backing me and I can have the treatment needed for my dogs and Pets Best will pay per my insurance plan partly for the cost. Especially when an emergency vet is needed for the illness/sickness,”

“I never really considered pet insurance, but after my chihuahua mix River had a partial CCL tear at age 11, I started thinking it might be a good idea. (It fortunately didn't require surgery, but would have been very difficult for me to afford if it had.) Pets Best was one of the few companies that didn't have an upper age limit and was the most reasonable price despite her age. I didn't really even use it for the first year or two since she only needed routine care and affordable meds for a pre-existing hypothyroid condition, but appreciated the peace of mind, and while the premiums have increased a little over time, they're still manageable with her approaching 14 in August. This past month she collapsed twice after getting the zoomies and running hard, which turned out to be caused by a heart murmur and slightly enlarged heart, and the x-ray to diagnose that also revealed an enlarged kidney - so for the first time we've actually used the insurance and hit the deductible (I chose a $1000 deductible to keep the premiums lower). I've had no trouble whatsoever submitting claims for her vet visits, prescriptions from the vet and then from Chewy (the heart condition requires Vetmedin, which isn't cheap!), and now a specialty vet for an abdominal ultrasound of her kidney and drainage of the cyst they found. Paying out of pocket up to the deductible was manageable, but the ultrasound and cyst drainage procedure, plus an EKG to check her heart before sedation, went well over that amount, so I'm extremely glad I chose to get insurance and I can't imagine a better and easier experience than Pets Best has been. The one time I called with a question it was quick and easy and helpful as well.”

“I think your insurance could be more lenient when it come to some of the claims submitted. These animals are family and not pets. We treat them as one of our own and when we care for our children, they get the best and so should our dogs. Their reimbursement for care should not be refused or down graded due to the care prescribed. I pay my premiums! I get little help in return.”

“I'm going on my 3rd year with Pets Best Pet Health Insurance. I have 2 very active Boxers. They are always prompt in reviewing and paying the claims I submit. They're also very helpful when I've needed to call about something. The rates were recently raised, but the representative was kind and helpful in suggesting a less expensive resolution. I considered switching after the rate raise, however, I didn't find any other company which compared. I definitely recommend them if you're considering pet insurance.”
