“Ease of managing claims”

“I had an amazing experience. My dog was diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma and we were told average lifespan was around 1y without intervention other than surgery. He had the surgery and then we got referral for radiotherapy. The consult gave us all the information we needed to make a decision and although the anesthesia/radiotherapy was rough, they treated us and our Wall-e with kindness and answered all our questions through the process. Wall-e is now in remission and as happy as before he got the tumor. Had a great experience with all the staff and the doctors who are caring and made sure to keep our baby safe and healthy. Thank you!!!!”

“i think almost 20$ a month increase is excessive i understand pet is getting older but barely submit claims generally it is increased approx 10$”

“I have been very pleased with my experience with Pets Best. I purchased the accident and illness policy and when the worst happened, PB was very helpful walking me through my policy, what was covered and best practices for submitting my claims. Payouts have been prompt as well.”

“There is hardly any coverage when your pet ages or has any diseases pop up, even if they were diagnosed after the fact. The rates are so high for me to spend hundreds that "don't count" toward the deductible. I am positive they use AI to deny everything and then I pay over a grand every year to get $15 in reimbursements for things they used to cover hundreds for. This is the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. Cheapskate company that will rip you off.”

“My cat’s monthly medication keeps getting denied for it being “ a special diet” although it’s an injection for osteoarthritis that is listed as a covered medication. When you call the help line they tell you that’s it’s an AI mistake and I need to email to “put human eyes” on my claim. When you email it takes about 3 days for them to get back to you to tell you reviewing the claim could take up to 30 days. I shouldn’t have to wait 30+ days for a covered medication to get resolved. I still have not been reimbursed for this medication even though I first emailed them in May. Still waiting on reimbursement for March- July reimbursement.”

“Claims are sometimes processed quickly and other times they are processed on the slow side. Pets Best just had a Rate Increase that was that was on the HIGH side. The rates have gone up significantly.”

“I have been with Pets best since I adopted my 11 year old greater Swiss Mountain dog. They have been with me every step of the way and in the future if I ever need pet insurance, I will come back to Pets best. In addition I have recommended it to many of my dog friends and Swissy enthusiasts.”
