Horrible. I have waited weeks to get some kind of response to my claims and either I have received no respose or I received a delayed response telling me that they need more info. The info that they say they need is ON the claim. I can't get through to anybody this is theft and poorly run.

Year after year we continue to enjoy having coverage with your company. Claims are almost always processed prompty and when we call, your phone staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

I bought pet insurance at the suggestion of the Vet. I was skeptical because I had tried another company 10 years ago and I was very unimpressed with the insurance. This time the process was very easy and the Insurance was affordable for my new puppy at $35 a month. It had a high deductible but paid 90% of claims. Unfortunately, my dog had a very unusual illness and it cost a lot of money to treat and determine the cause. When the cause was determined to be untreatable, we had to put the dog down and they were kind and quick to resolve it all. The pet insurance allowed me to choose all the tests needed and actually find out what the problem was and how to handle it without prolonging pain and suffering for the dog. While the pet insurance didn't save me the heartbreak, it did save me financially.

It was hard to talk to a human. It was even harder to get the right email to send bills. I was told they requested records but I still had to send detail bills. When they sent the reimbursement, it still didn’t include one of the bills I sent multiple times. Submitting on line is not user friendly. But once I did talk to a human…. She was very nice and tried to be helpful.

We switched to Pet’s Best as it was recommended by my spouse’s job. We have 2 dogs. We chose Pet’s Best because after much research, it was one of very few companies with an unlimited policy, $500 deductible and 90% reimbursement. We find the claim process and reimbursement much slower than our prior insurance. They never process a claim immediately. When you check, it always says processing and after 2 weeks it always says need additional records. This was never the case with our prior insurance. We pay our premium on time. They need to speed up their process.

We've had this insurance for our pet for a long time and thankfully never had to use it. Unfortunately she's getting old and with age things happen. We filled a claim on Thursday and by Friday we already had a resolution. They were fast and very professional. Everything was done through the site, easy and self explanatory. I totally recomment Pets Best!!!

I have a Welness plan that covers annual cleanings for my pups. It took almost 3 months to get a cleaning covered . I was repeatedly asked for more and more info, dental records then teeth #s for the extractions done, then reason for extractions and finally for records dating back to October 2023 which was prior to me rescuing my pop. If annual cleanings are covered additional info should not be needed if that all the claim was submitted for. Finally reimbursed $150 for service date 1/12/26

I’ve been paying over $150/month for pet insurance, and honestly, it feels like a complete waste. My dog barely goes to the vet—maybe once a year—and when she does, almost nothing is covered. The most frustrating part is how they classify issues. When I first adopted my dog as a puppy, she had fleas. Now, any ear issues or allergy-related conditions are being labeled as “pre-existing” or “allergies,” and they refuse to cover treatment. These are real, ongoing health concerns, and they won’t help at all. It feels like they look for any reason to deny claims rather than support pet owners. After spending thousands over time, I’ve received little to no value in return. If your pet has any history of skin, ear, or allergy issues—even minor—be very careful. You may end up paying a lot and getting nothing when you actually need it.
