“I am truly disappointed that HOT SPOTS are considered a pre-existing condition. Hot spots are widely recognized as an acute, sudden-onset skin condition that can develop rapidly due to a variety of triggers, including environmental allergens, insect bites, grooming issues, moisture, or minor skin irritation. These episodes are often isolated and episodic in nature, rather than chronic or ongoing conditions. I will be appealing your decision as it is wrong and should be covered for the amount of my premium.”

“I would not be without PetsBest. Recently had an accident with my dogs which ended up in the emergency vets. I put the claim in on Friday night and received confirmation 2 days later that the claim had been processed. Always had excellent service and highly recommend”

“Impressed with all my Pets Best interactions and will continue being a customer . . . (1) Customer service answered my call quickly and answered my policy question on the first call. (2) The 24/7 medical call in service was great. Again, quick to answer and provided excellent info. Afterwards, they emailed me a written summary of the call. (3) Claims were very easy to submit and decisions were made within 36 hours. EOB was easy to understand and accurate.”

“Submitting a claim for vet visits, pt, and surgery and got a very fast payment for the claims with thorough explanations for deductible, copay and coverage. Phone rep was friendly and helpful understanding how to submit my claims. It was a positive experience all around.”

“Claims get approved quickly. I have not had any issues. Yearly premiums have tripled in the past few years! Over $2k yearly for a 9 year old dog is abusive given that they know that with pre existing conditions the only option is staying without insurance”

“We have had pet "Buddy" insured with PetsBest for over 2 years and enjoy the peace of mind having our Shih Tzu covered with Pets Best. Not only will it cover serious health issues but we like the wellness/preventative coverage for example heart worm medication. The claim procedure is straight forward and they reimburse quickly. Great Service.”

“Easy to submit claim for illness and got quick reimbursement via direct deposit that Id set up ahead of time. Overall, very pleased! Caveat: this is my First claim only. I can't speak to long-term experience.”

“Used to be great when it was privately owned.Was sold to Syncrony then sold again to an insurance company. Now a typical crummy insurance company. Payments slower, customer service hard to understand accents, don't even know if it is in the U.S. Half the claims are done by AI not an actual human. They use every excuse to deny claim. Totally disgusted with them.”

“I had accumulated four invoices for my dog over the last month and submitted them one evening. The very next day Pets Best had approved them and send me the notifications. That was incredibly quick and made me happy that I had pet insurance with Pets Best.”

“I have Pets Best for my three dogs and for my son's one dog. It gives me peace of mind knowing I have insurance if I ever needed it due to very high vet billing. I have the wellness, illness & accident on two dogs and the illness & accident on 2 dogs.”

“Terrible. I pay additional for wellness yet when I take my dog to the vet yearly for wellness visits it is less than 50% covered for basic yearly wellness. I have spent thousands out of pocket on vet visits and have barely received any reimbursement while paying almost $100 per month for insurance for one pet. Currently shopping other insurances.”
