Prompt payment of claims in accordance with policy. The process for submitting claims and receiving payments was easy. The explanations of benefits are clear, detailed, and easy to understand.

No website. Long time to process claims High deductible Increase on premiums without ever being reimbursed No follow up when told there will be a follow up contact 30 minute wait time for live person- again no website that works

I have been locked out of my account for two full months with no resolution, which has prevented me from submitting pending claims. After contacting customer service, I was instructed to email my claims manually. It has now been two weeks since I sent that email, and I have received no response or update. This experience has been extremely frustrating and unacceptable.

Very straightforward claims processing and coverage is as expected for the package I purchased. Sometimes claim processing is slow, which can be concerning as a large emergency bill is currently sitting on one of my credit cards while I wait to get reimbursed.

Generally I have had a good experience with Pets Best. My primary drawbacks: I have found that there are treatments my vet prescribes that are not covered, wellness coverage typically covers about 1/3 of my actual wellness costs.

Overall, I have been very happy. I have used Pets Best for all of my animals over many years (a total of at least 9 animals). My only complaint is that in that time, the processing time for claims has gotten much longer. It used to be a week or two and now, sometimes it can take a month. Customer service is good. Obviously rates are high but if you are the type of person that spares no expense for your pets, it is absolutely worth it in the long run. Several of my animals have had MAJOR surgeries ($15,000 procedures) and have chronic illnesses and this has been invaluable. Highly recommend.

The AI system used to initially review insurance claims isn't effective and often results in wrongful denials. We have a monthly injection done at the vet, and the claims have consistently been denied for being a "take-home medication." I've had to call in every month to get it sent to be processed manually, so it takes SO long for us to get reimbursement for these claims. Their customer service is great, though, and very kind. I wish they would either 1) improve the AI review process or 2) send denied claims to a person to review before they are officially denied. It seems like a lot of time is wasted by having to work through customer service agents to review the process, when a quick human review would make the process so much less frustrating as a customer.

Sadly, I have had two dogs with serious medical issues in the last year. However, pets best has made this much easier by promptly paying all of my claims before the credit card bill even came in. The staff is always helpful and the claims process is very simple. Highly recommend.

Pets Best has a reasonable price. Yes, it has increased a bit as my pet gets older but that is expected. The deductible is reasonable and Pets Best has covered 90% of my claims. It has given me such peace of mind that I haven't had to worry about pet bills and haven't had to compromise my pet's health care due to financial concerns.

Have had insurance on my dog for years with Pets Best, and am very pleased with their coverage and service. It's easy to file claims, and they pay within a reasonable time period. Their custmer service, when called, is always very helpful and pleasant to work with.

When I called the customer service reps were very nice, however they were unable to address my concern about the lack of communication I’ve been experiencing. I’ve never had to file a claim until recently. The PetsBest website server has been down for an undetermined amount of time, I’ve had little to no communication about the claims that I’ve filed and no communication from PetsBest on when the website will be up and running. I’ve been waiting over a month to hear the status of my claims. This has negatively affected my confidence in the company and will affect my decision to stay with Pets Best Pet Insurance.
