“My little dog was passing blood for two days. We ended up going to an emergency clinic. They covered $860 out of $1450. The paperwork on the phone was easy to complete. I didn't have to jump through loops. Directly deposited to my back account. First time I've used it. I am very pleased with the coverage.”

“Premiums seem to be increasing fairly dramatically even though I don't submit many claims. Claim website - Was down for weeks to upload a claim on both site and app. When emailing, didn't feel it was dont in a timely manner”

“I've had PB for years, never had any issues getting things accomplished until last fall. Since then it feels like everything has gone downhill. I'm disappointed and will no longer be recommending them.”

“I have been nothing but pleased with Pets Best. This is my first experience having pet health insurance, so I have no basis for comparison, but Pets Best has been great so far! It REALLY brings piece of mind having pet health insurance for my beloved family member.”

“Company takes a long time to reimburse you. Reimbursement for medical bills do not even pay half of our medical bills. Not realistic Coverage for the amount paid monthly.”

“Reached maximum payouts on the first wellness visit for a puppy, then denied every claim since. Why should anyone give you a sum of money only to have you give back a small portion? Wellness coverage is not worth it for anyone especially a puppy.”

“I find Pets Best so comforting at a pet parent's worst times when their pups are sick and need medical attention. When I have called for clarification and guidance they are kind and helpful and empathetic. I would recommend them to everyone who owns a pet”

“This is the second time I have been on line with a customer service rep over two different instances. Both times the customer service was fantastic. The first time was with Vicki on Jan. 6th, she spent over an hour with me helping me with everthing. I accidently hung up on her and she accually called me back to help finish. Today, Feb 11, 2026, I spent another long time on the phone and the lady that helped me was also great. I'm sorry I don't have her name but I'm sure they can find out who it was. This is the best customer service you can get. I don't normally leave reviews but I felt they both deserve credit. Good job!”

“Nowhere during registration was there a disclosure as to what the policy covered. In order to get a quote, it asked for my pet’s name, age, & breed. After getting the quote & signing up, I THEN received an email welcoming me & letting me know what the coverage covered. After just ONE visit to the vet, I have maxed out my benefits and I’m now stuck with paying monthly fees for the next 1 year before I can cancel the policy. I’m not very happy at all.”
