“Coverage is great and reasonably priced. It takes a long time for the claim to be processed but the reimbursement is fairly quick once the claim is approved. I wish they had a vet direct payment portal and a pre-approval option for larger bills like some other insurance providers.”

“I've had a dog with spine issues - he had an accident at age 2. The vet specialist wanted an MRI but I would have had to pay $5k and then Pets Best would decide if they would cover it. I couldn't afford that. Now eight years old, my dog tore his ACL and miniscus. Pets Best did a remarkable job paying for the x-rays, medications for his upcoming surgery. I did not get a policy that paid for office exams. I regret that now. But they are very good about reimbursing for this upcoming surgery.”

“Our Lab, Diesel, extricated a sparrow nest from the boxwood shrubs and proceeded to eat a few of the babies before I could get it away from him. Disgusting yes, he coughed one up later and he also killed a baby mockingbird and this was all while I was outside, he's fast. The birds made him sick, lethargic and uncomfortable requiring more than one trip to the vet and Pet's Best paid all the claims in less than a week. No one should have a Lab and not have insurance because they don't learn and he is an inside dog that his never outside unsupervised because he can't be trusted. Good thing there's insurance !”

“I’ve had Pets Best for several years for multiple dogs and I’m so glad I do. Whenever they had an illness, it was covered. There is peace of mind having them in our corner. My claims have been processed in a timely manner and if I needed to speak to someone, the phone wait was very short.”

“I purchased pet health as a condition of sale from my breeder. I compared at least eight different companies and chose Pets Best for their unlimited coverage and ninety percent reimbursement rate. I submitted four claims, each invoice is a separate claim, on May 1, by May 8 I received an explanation of benefits for all four claims, by May 14 the reimbursement was received in my checking account. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for pet insurance. It wasn't the least expensive coverage available however the ease of submitting a claim and the quick turnaround to settlement has convinced me to stay with this company for the foreseeable future.”

“I have had pet’s best insurance for several years for my dogs. i highly recommend them to everyone- their customer service is excellent, and they do what they say they will - i have never had a problem with prompt information concerning my claims and prompt payment in the agreed amount.”

“Pets Best has been great with all my past claims. My dogs are family to me and I sleep better at night knowing they are covered. I recently had to take my dog to the emergency vet and it was so nice to be able to say yes to whatever the vet suggested because I had the peace of mind of insurance. “Mixed feelings. I like their app. I like their coverage. People on the phone were very good. - very poor communication on status of your claim. Mine were closed because of lack of documentation and they never reached out to me. When I sent the information that was missing they didn't reopen my claim. That required another phone call and email - still confused about how the claims work. I filed 3 claims (for the same illness) and now there are 7 claims. No explanation, no communication.”

“So happy with this insurance for my 1 year old puppy. We had to go to the vet quite a bit after first adopting him, and have never had any issues in getting our claims taken care of. The website and app is very intuitive. We even called in to inquire about a possible surgery and the woman we talked to was well-informed and provided us valuable information if we had to proceed with surgery. Overall, I am impressed with the service provided and will continue to be a customer as long as we have pets.”
