“I have generally been pleased with the insurance. Some claims do take longer to process but that’s not a problem. I am, however, upset that the rates decided to go up conveniently FOUR DAYS after we submitted a claim for my dog to have CCL surgery. The letter states that it is not related to our recent claims but I don’t believe that, the timing is too close. Especially since we’ve been using this company for years and our rate has not increased significantly. This year they decided our rate would increase by $50 a month for the same coverage”

“I’ve been very pleased with Pets Best over the years. They cover exactly what’s in my policy and I’ve never felt the need to dispute a claim. Reimbursement is within 1 month and this works out great for me. I highly recommend pets Best.”

“It's a hard review to write because the coverage has been integral to the health of a dog who came with a lot more complex issues than the rest of his litter, but also the greatest heart and face. They have been easy enough to reach but reimbursments can take some time which is less than ideal and the biggest complaint I have is the guarentee that they don't raise prices because of claims or pets age has not been true for us. Every year we have seen a price hike and they don't bring it back down when contacted about it. I am sure this will not be a review they choose to be shared.”

“Coverage for medical is not that good..wellness is ok. My policy covers vaccines&take home prescriptions but it will not cover flea&tic med. Beware…ask LOTS of questions before you buy! When your pet gets older & really needs the coverage it gets sketchy . And the premium sky rockets!!!”

“I love my pet insurance company. They are fair and responsive. My puppy developed epilepsy at a year old and every medication and emergency room has been covered. I have the unlimited plan with a 1k deductible and 90% coverage. I would have went into massive debt to save my now healthy five year old pup had I not had insurance. He’s now three years seizure free but takes two fistfuls of medications twice a day. He’s living his best life and a longer life than if we couldn’t have afforded the care he needs. Pets Best also helped us through a major heart condition with our first dog and a brain tumor in our second. Losing a pet is hard but it’s easier to come to terms with when you know you afforded every opportunity to treat the disease. I recommend Pets Best to every pet owner I know.”

“I researched various pet insurance providers and decided to go with Pets Best based on reviews and cost. It has already paid off as our new dog needed surgery about five months after we got him. It was easy and fast to file a claim and the reimbursement amount seemd very fair. I would recommend them!”
