“When I took out my first policy 8 months ago reimbursement from claims was fast usually within 7-10 days. Now every claim seems to take 20-25 days. Also if you add a pet to an existing pet policy and have auto pay they pull the new premium twice the first month if you want the policies combined into one ABP to have a month in surplus. This does NOT happen if you keep them separate or log into app to pay. Customer service knowledge seems to have fallen in the last few months as well.”

“Seems like a scam. My dog went to the vet and ended up having an emergency surgery on his leg. Everything was denied and deemed “non-emergency”. I pay $700 a year for this insincere, I’ve had it almost a year and a half. I received $500 back from the $3500 surgery after I appealed and called and annoyed them. Took about 5 weeks.”

“I had a fantastic experience. The claim took about 3 weeks to process and the deposit was shortly thereafter. Let’s best sent communication to update me to the status of the claim. They covered everything the policy said it would. Very pleased that this resource is available, especially since these accidents ever happen at the best time. I would highly recommend Pets Best!”

“My golden doodle was sick one time this year and that took care of the $250 deductible. THEN I found a lump on her leg and the deductible was already paid, so I received 90 % of the bill, around $400 for 1 visit and I've been back once and will have to go another time or two I'm sure. So it definitely pays for itself. The only thing is, as your pet gets older the monthly payment goes up. Mine went from $48 a month to $70 a month this year. But, I would rather pay that monthly as to have 7 or 8,000$ bill all at once with no insurance.”

“My little dog Ruby at something that caused her to vomit and have diarrhea for over 40 hours on a weekend so I took her to emergency. PetsBest was very understanding and after reviewing my claim they reimbursed me a significant amount in a very timely manner. I have recommended PetsBest to all my dog owner friends. It's a first class pet insurance company”

“We used Pets Best for the last three years with our late dog and they were great! Their claim center was super easy to use and claims were processed quickly with a clear explanation of why they made the decisions they did. And when we need to cancel, they were super understanding, helpful, and empathetic. Would highly recommend and we plan to use them again when we get another pup!”

“This is the best insurance! I insured both of my pups before discovering that my goldendoodle had hip dysplasia (she was only 3)! The breeder obviously didn't test the parents. PetsBest has covered her medication for her hip pain and also the shots for her allergies. They have never questioned a thing and have paid every claim according to the policy provisions. I am sure that they would rather my doodle didn't have problems, but they are amazing handling the claims.”
