“The annual premium continues to go up. I feel like I can get a better deal with a different provider. Additonally, sometimes my claims are delayed. I am pleased, but not ecstatic with my coverage now. I was much happier before when I felt the costs were more reasonable”

“It took the company 4 weeks to decide on my first claim and then I tried for over 3 weeks to submit my second claim. Website kept giving me errors. I am very disappointed in this service and will be looking at other companies. Do better”

“When I first started using Pets Best, they were GREAT! Super-responsive and processed claims in a timely manner. Then a few months ago there started to be a lot of glitches--the app and website would be down, calling meant being on hold forever, and it seemed like claims weren't getting processed. While the communication issues seem to have been resolved (I haven't bothered trying to use the app since then), claims are still taking about a month to process (instead of 1-2 weeks like before) and since the reimbursements take about a week to get deposited, claims overall take more than a month to be resolved. If it had always been this way I would just assume that is normal, but the new "normal" seems to be claims taking twice as long to process.”

“PetsBest is a good health insurance. I received reimbursement for all my claims. I just don’t like when their processing time takes many weeks, considering all documentation was provided when submitting the claim.”

“I've had my dog insured with Pets Best from 11 months old. The premium has gone from $174/yr to $1,135/yr (2019-2025). Which honestly is unacceptable but I continue to pay it because veterinary care cost has increased (but not 552%!) Additionally, you cannot change your plan except downward. But, claims are paid, sometimes with minor delays. The last two years, the increases have been insane, I doubt I'll continue at this rate. 2023 = $596, 2024= $710, 2025 = $1135 Just not sustainable. So the positives of claims payment usually in a timely manner versus CRAZY increases in premiums. Everyone needs to decide what is best for them”

“I have had Pets Best insurance for my dog since he was 10 weeks old, he is now 7.5. My claims have been paid without hassle. I am so happy that we have this insurance. I would recommend it to anyone and will always keep it for my pets. I feel confident this company is with me for the entirety of my dog's life to help us along the way. Thank you Pets Best!”

“Ive been with PetsBest for several years and did not need to submit claims for the first 4 years of having the policy. My dog became severely ill and spent days in critical care. Since that stay 2 years ago Ive submitted several claims, nearly every month, for ongoing specialty care and medications to manage his new diagnosis. Every claim Ive submitted has been processed timely and correctly. Each time Ive called to speak with a customer service representative Ive been pleased with their friendliness and professionalism.”

“I have liked having pets best I have two animals on it. I haven’t had any issues with pay outs. Everything that has said it will be covered is covered the monthly premiums are reasonable. My only complaint is the app is horrible it doesn’t work. Recently it has been working again hopefully it continues.”
