I like the peace of mind, knowing I have support. When I used for the first time I was disappointed with the amount of time it took to review the claim. It my have been a slow response from the vet but I did get the approval

After 3 messages informing us on the status of the claim, the request was processed and a reimbursement was issued (minus deductible and co-pay). We are happy with how everything proceeded and concluded. We have shared our positive experience with friends who are contemplating getting pet insurance.

Overall it is an easy company to deal with. I know insurance is very important when our fur babies are sick or injured. I currently have a fairly healthy young pup, and I think the cost is kind of high after the recent jump from about $70/month to $85/month… but at least my claims are processed quickly and I’m covered in case of an emergency.

The coverage to cost ratio is the best I have seen. Notably, coverage of acupuncture and physical therapy without a limitation (it’s limited to a certain number of weeks with some other companies). They have covered everything I have submitted. The only reason I deducted a star is because recently their processing times have been very long for some very large chemo bills, and that’s a lot of money to float for 42 days. I don’t know if they are under resourced or if they are managing their cash flow too conservatively.

Pets best has been wonderful for us. I am always comfortable taking my pup to the vet when she needs. Sometimes the app has issues but usually it’s great. The process is simple and user friendly!

Everything was good until today 6/24 I got an email saying that my pet insurance was cancelled. I never requested it be cancelled, so I called and spent 25 mins on the phone waiting for someone to pick up only to tell me that it wasn't cancelled it was a mistake.

Pets Best provides me with the knowledge that I will be able to afford care for my dog if she is in need of special treatment for an illness or injury. I appreciate the fact that Pets Best reimburses claims for yearly exams and vaccines so quickly. I have not had to submit claims for anything else - thank goodness!

My cat passed away May 2, 2024 and Pet's Best covered everything I would have expected, it just took over a month for them to tell me what they were covereing. Just waiting for the direct deposit now, day 34.

We have been with Pets Best for several years now and it always seems to take them a long time to process my claims. They do notify with updates when they are delayed. The overall price has gone up quite a bit from the first year we got coverage. So much so that we've had to lower the deductible and the coverage we receive. That being said for the most part we are happy with the insurance. In comarison to others it is the best deal we could find.

I have been relatively happy with this pet insurance. App makes it easy to submit claims and communication seems to be good when additional information is needed. I have had some claims take a couple days to process….others have taken a month. Overall happy with pets best insurance.

I love the coverage , but wish the turnaround time to get reimbursed was quicker. I submitted a claim the beginning of May & it still says it’s in process on June 2.

After having a dog die unexpectedly, in 2020, despite spending $17K to save him, we decided getting insurance for our other boy was a must. When we got our puppy later that year we immediatly got him covered as well. I am very happy with ease of filing claims, and the communication from Pets Best. We have been happy with the coverage and the payment on claims. I gave only 4 stars as the premium for the older boy went up substantially in Jan 24 when he turned 10. I got a message explaining that it was determined based on overall claims (not his) and cost of the claims. Right now we are paying over $200 for the 2 policies, but after our experience in 2020 I am not comfortable not having coverage, you never know what could happen to the pets health.

Great communication regarding status of claim review and payment. Clear explanation about why a service or medication was not paid for. Monthly payment increase this year, but it is still considered a good price for insurance coverage.
