“I have only filed claims recently . It does take awhile to process but so far have been fair with claims.”

“Very professional and prompt response to claims. Peace of mind having my pets covered. Only recommendation is to allow changes to policy throughout pet's life, since individual needs change. But otherwise very satisfied.”

“We love this pet insurance. Never any hassle, easy claim procedure, quick reimbursement process. It is getting pretty expensive, though, as our dog ages.”

“Have had for 6years now and am very happy with them. Customer service is good and rates were good till this year. But won’t complain because this is the first increase in 6years. Could have gone up every years but didn’t. Re-imbursement are good and quick. So the review is a four star to me”

“I think the insurance itself and coverage for my dog is great. My only concern is the length of time it takes for my claims to be reviewed and processed. Sometimes it takes entirely too long for claims to be reviewed. For example, I had three claims submitted. The newest/recent claim was processed within a couple days. Whereas, my first claim is still waiting to be processed and it’s been over 3 weeks. It doesn’t quite make sense.”

“Claims process is easy. When I needed help it was readily available. Only reason I didn't rate them a 5 was, I took my dog in for her 2nd rabies shot a week earlier than last year. Since it wasn't a full year, the rabies shot wasn't covered. Wish they would cover by the shot, and not the calendar year. But other than that, I am satisifed with the insurance.”

“No problems with reimbursements but as pets age the coverage get very pricy, where it can cost more than the $5000 you would be reimbursed per year, so watch the deductible and percentage reimbursement you have to make sure you don’t pay more than what you will get reimbursed.”

“Wellness claims are processed fast. Medical claims not so fast. Had issue with a wellness claim in which I put a note on the claim which was not considered until I called. When I spoke with a rep, they made the adjustment and resubmitted the claim for payment.”

“The employees are very helpful and always get to the bottom of any issue I may have. The only problem I have is it takes a month to receive payment for claims. That's just too long in my opinion.”

“Pets Best is good at offering flexible and customizable policies for pets of all ages, breeds, sizes, backgrounds. The premium prices are fair and can be paid automatically by the month. I'm not impressed with the speed of their process in dealing with claims, and the refusal of some claims. The most recent claim I made paid out $0.02. Yeah, you read that correctly. Other claims were handled more in line with what I expected, though the time frame is still longer than other companies I've worked with. Still, during my dog's first year of life, the puppy package was extremely helpful and paid out as expected.”
