“After several relatively healthy years for our pets where we didn't need to use our coverage, we ran into a series of new conditions this year. Pets Best has been great about reviewing claims in a timely manner and covering these newly incurred expenses. I've been pleasantly surprised at how easy it has been so far!”

“When my dog was a puppy it was amazing. All his appointments were covered and the cost balanced out. The piece of mind knowing if my puppy got hurt and it was covered was great. Now that he’s older (6) the cost is higher and what they cover seems to be a lot less and it doesn’t balance out. Not sure if I’ll be keeping it.”

“We could not be more pleased with Pets Best Insurance. Our dog is reasonably high maintenance suffering from skin and stomach issues but Pets Best always handle any claims quickly, fairly and sympathetically. Based on our experience we would highly trecommend them to any pet owner seeking fast and efficent pet insurance.”

“I switched to Pets Best after a bad experience with a previous insurer that was using complicated tables to determine how much of our pet’s medical expenses was covered or not. Pets Best has an absolutely no nonsense policy where you pick your deductible and your copay levels and then there’s no arguing about what’s covered or not. It gave so much more peace of mind when we had to decide the treatment for our cat, knowing exactly what we had to pay out of pocket! And the refund came in as promised without any issue. I would totally recommend Pets Best to any pet owner.”

“Every aspect of Pets Best Insurance is a lesson in frustration and disappointment. Claims processing is advertised as 'quick,' yet every single claim I've submitted has taken well over a month to even get a response—let alone be processed. The website is archaic and loads at a pace rivaling dial-up, even on the fastest fiber connection available. Their iOS app somehow manages to mimic this glacial speed perfectly, making every interaction a chore. Despite what the coverage documents say, Pets Best has never officially covered a single one of my claims. Everything is met with legalese and stall tactics. When I've tried contacting customer service, agents were totally inept and incapable of answering basic questions. There's a total lack of understanding, responsiveness, or willingness to help—just endless runaround. This company feels slow, dated, and absolutely unresponsive in every way. I would never recommend them to anyone.”

“Pets best has been great. I have had it for all my pets since I got them. They have never tried to deny things that should be covered and reimburse within a couple weeks usually. I recommend them to anyone with pets. My dog got hit by a car and needed to be in the ICU and have emergency care. It was 1000s. I only paid my deductible then do insurance after it.”

“The coverage is good as we’ve never had an issue with a claim getting paid. What we have had an issue with is a claim taking a long time to get paid. A simple $98 claim took 3 weeks. I can’t imagine how long a $9,800 claim would take. I wish the claim processing was quicker.”

“I am beyond thrilled to have found Pets Best! I have been a pet owner for over 55 years and never had insurance on my dogs before now. I am much older now and having insurance on my 2.5 year old pup...creates a very secure feeling for me. The company has proven to be reliable and pro-active any time I have filed a claim or needed a question answered. I could not be more pleased. Sincerely”

“Prompt, efficient and cost effective. Never had a problem. Never been refused coverage. They cover chronic issues like medications for allergies as well as emergency issues, like bloat.”

“The customer service is great and the claim submission process itself is really easy to do. I do feel like reimbursement is slow (it seems to take weeks as a standard) and I’m continuously needing to re-upload the same medical records with every claim, which seems redundant.”
