“when I first call pets best health insurance, the experience was good. All the information that I was given was the best however, once I started submitting claims, none of the claims were approved when I would call they would give me the round around saying please check the EOB, you will be able to find out why your claim was denied, paying my monthly plan premium for a couple of months for nothing. This insurance is worthless”

“So far it has been a good experience. I have two of three claims that have been approved. The oldest has not yet. Not sure why. Waiting to see if more info is needed.”

“This insurance company was prompt and accurate in their insurance payments. The last two years, I have felt that they find reasons to refuse the claim. I think I sent a claim 3 times online and one in the mail, and spoke to Customer Service 2 to 3 times. I was told it was under review and it looked good, and then the next thing I hear it was refused. If my dog wasn’t seven years old, I certainly would change insurance companies. I’m kind of stuck here since it’s always good to start your pet insurance when they’re puppies.”

“It's certainly not the worst insurance, and it's good to have for the most important thing in our lives. BUT it would be nice if it covered some things that to each individual dog ARE a necessity. The amount it covers for wellness visits is ...also not great, and it doesnt cover a lot of vaccinations that are recommended. BUT it's good to have in emergencies.”

“From $640 I paid the vet , pet best payed me only $175 dollars !! I think I would radar cancel !! What a scam!!”

“Takes weeks to get a claim paid. Very inconsistent on what gets paid out. Overuse the “previous condition” line so that nothing ever gets paid out. I will be canceling my policy”
