So far, I have had a good experience with pets best insurance. Their ap was problematic at the beginning, but seems to have gotten better over time. They have paid all my claims within 48 hours and I have never had to question or argue over any covered items. This is the first time I have ever had pet insurance so I don't have a frame of reference to give them a 5, but I feel very comfortable giving a solid 4.

This company is an absolute embarrassment to the concept of customer service. Pets Best is, without question, the most useless, incompetent, and disgracefully run insurance company I have ever encountered in my entire life. Every single interaction I’ve had with them has been a soul-sucking waste of time. Their staff are astonishingly clueless, their systems barely function, and their entire operation runs like it’s being managed by a pack of goldfish with brain damage. For over two months, I have spent hours on the phone with their so-called “support” team, trying to access my own account, which remains completely locked because of their own broken IT system. Every call ends the same way: they apologize, open a ticket, and promise someone will follow up, and then absolutely nothing happens. I’ve lost count of how many times they’ve told me the issue is being “escalated,” which apparently means “thrown into a black hole and forgotten.” Their claims process is a complete joke. It moves at the speed of continental drift. They repeatedly request the same medical records you’ve already uploaded, as if they’re actively trying to waste as much of your time as possible. It’s either laziness or total stupidity, and I honestly can’t tell which would be worse. I have expensive claims sitting in limbo because this company is too incompetent to function. I cannot overstate how miserable, frustrating, and infuriating this entire experience has been. The level of disorganization is staggering, and it’s crystal clear they couldn’t care less about their customers. When these clowns finally, eventually, pay out my remaining claims, I will be canceling immediately. If there were a lower rating than one star, I would give it without hesitation. They have completely wasted my time, ignored my problems, and proven that they are utterly incapable of handling even the most basic tasks. If you’re even thinking about signing up for this garbage company, don’t. Run in the opposite direction. You’ll save yourself months of frustration, hours of phone calls, and a lifetime’s worth of regret. Pets Best is an unmitigated disaster run by people who shouldn’t be trusted to run a lemonade stand, let alone an insurance company.

Overall I’ve been very happy with Pets Best, claims process in a reasonable amount of time and I like the breakdown that reviews what services are covered on the invoices. My only issue is with the mobile app. Majority of the time it does not work and I have to log in on a web browser. I would love to see the app function better. I’ve recommended this insurance to few people when they ask if pet insurance is worth it! I like that you can tailor your coverage with the three tiers and adjust what deductible you prefer. The monthly payment I find is also very reasonable for the amount of coverage that is offered! I’ve only spoken to a representative twice since signing up and both times they were extremely kind and patient.

Pets best pet health insurance is the best thing I ever did for my dog. Very reliable and the app is easy to use. Submitting bills takes literally 30 seconds. Appreciate this insurance for my pet Deuce

They just recently forced clients to only submit one invoice-type document with claims, but that's not always best, as the claims reviewers appear to have 30 seconds to look over content. Even with including a note that said there was a separate deposit that occurred for a vet's therapy visit, and reiterating what the full total was, they still lowered the overall visit amount by the deposit amount in one instance, as if that deposit hadn't happened. So I had to follow up unnecessarily. And that's not the first time something has been overlooked. The reason for 2 stars is that the customer service reps are often as helpful as possible, though one was clearly taking out frustrations in general on a call, when I asked about how long a claim response to expect (she basically had the attitude that they had X number of days left before reaching the full limit of time allowed--a 30 day response is a pretty low standard to be applying as your Gold Standard). I am just starting to get reimbursements, and am hopeful things will be simpler moving forward, though not very sure.

Pets Best has been covering my pets for several years, and my experience with them has been excellent. Unlike other companies I’ve used in the past, Pets Best processes my claims quickly and deposits payments directly into my bank account almost immediately. I’m very happy with their service and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable protection for their furry family members.
