“It works for my purposes. I basically got it for help with extraodinary events such as an accident or serious illness. I am pleased that it covered a good amount of the dental surgery.”

“Claim took over a month to process and benefits were not explained properly. Things that are explained as covered fully are actually covered up to a specific amount. Vet bills were over 1400 and only got 900 back, even though the coverage I pay for says 90% reimbursement. The app needs to be updated to show clearly how much is actually covered, including copays and deductibles as well as limits of coverage because it's very unclear as it is and there's hardly any information.”

“Overall insurance is helpful, I never want to have to use it because it means I’m at the vet but when something goes wrong it always gets expensive so this is very helpful. The wellness plan I’m not totally sold on. Would be more helpful if you could use that money towards anything on that list up the maximum value. Costs in my area are no where near what that covers.”

“Rates! Rates! Rates! The service is standardt in the industry. Not the best, not the worst, but the jump of paying $89.06 to $168.91 with an 89% increase is outrageous! There was no significant changes on our pets health history and/or inflation rates that can justify such an increase. Is nothing but plain Price gouging!”

“I've only used my insurance for wellness visits (thankfully!!!) I'm very pleased with what is covered and how quickly my claims are processed. Takes a few days to post to my account after they're accepted, but no biggie there. I was pleasantly surprised to look at my benefits and see I had reimbursement available for my cat's heartworm preventitive!! That was a big deal :-)”

“The actual coverage is fine, but the claim process, the iPhone app, and communication are terrible. The very first claim I submitted took a little over a week which is great, but ever since they’ve taken at least a month. My dog is older so she’s at the vet a little more often, and still every time they feel the need to request all of her records even after I’ve provided them recently. Its a hassle for me and the vet, and unnecessary. Beyond that, the app is terrible. It crashes often and you pretty much have to use the desktop version. I stay with them because pet insurance is not cheap and with my dog being older, it’s hard to switch at this point.”

“It's been a great experience! They have 24/7 access to vets that I've used a few times. Submitting claims is extremely easy and it has taken an average of 2-3 weeks for decisions. I am so thankful someone recommended this insurance company because I have had nothing but positive experiences with them and we've had them going on 5 years now.”

“Thank you for the service you provide us, without your insurance we wouldn’t be able to afford all our dogs medical bills. He has sever epilepsy and needs constant continued care and medication. The amount of money you provide back to us is absolutely worth the amount of money we pay for insurance.”

“Pets Best Pet Health Insurance has excellent customer service. They are very professional, prompt and thorough with my policy and claims. Their communication and response is great. Every time I call I get all my questions answered and any concerns I have are addressed. The website is easy to navigate, and filing claims is a breeze. “We have been very happy overall with Pets Best Insurance. Their website is easy to navigate and it’s simple to submit a claim. Their communication is good and they respond quickly to email. The only complaint is the policy premiums have risen substantially over the last 6 months.”

“For the most part, I have been very satisfied with the coverage. There are times when there are delays in reimbursement but generally that is not the case. I had to drop the wellness coverage as it didn't cover much on dental cleaning which tends to be very costly.”

“Poor coverage. Minimal payout on claim. My advice to anyone looking into this "health insurance" for your pet, start a savings account instead. High deductible and there is a co-pay on top of the deductible.”
