I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to buy pet insurance when I got my dog, but I decided to now that she is seven the price has increased, but the times I have used it. It has just about paid for itself and I know in the future as she gets older, there will be more bills.

PetsBest is our first use of pet insurance. The sudden traumatic loss of our little rescue Miss Murphy was something we were not prepared for. Thank goodness we had purchased a PetsBest Insurance policy when we had adopted her three years prior! We chose to send in a paper claim with all the paid bills attached. The process would have gone faster had we used the computer, but we are senior citizens and our commfort level was the wriiten word. The claim has been settled and we are so pleased with PetsBest Insurance!

I cannot say enough about happy I am I chose Pet”s Best insurance. My three your old cat became suddenly ill this last weekend, and I had to take him to the urgent care. This was my first time needing to file a claim. The bill to have my baby treated was very expensive, and I was concerned that there would be red tape or hoops to jump through to get reimbursement for my claim. That was NOT the case. I submitted the claim and within two days I had a response that the claim had been processed and I would be receiving my refund within five to seven business days. Thank you Pet’s Best for making a stressful situation a little less stressful, and allowing me to be able to get the care my cat/baby needed. I have shared this story with my friends and family recommending they sign up as well. I would highly recommend getting Pet’s Best insurance for all of your fur babies.

I had different pet insurance companies for years and was not happy trying to deal with them. Pets Best is different . This time I really need help and they have been there to pay the benefits easily and quickly. I feel grateful to have found Pets Best to cover costs for my pets if and when they need medical attention.

I now have 2 dogs on this plan. Initially, I was very pleased with the policy until I learned that almost every illness he was being treated for was considered pre-existing and not covered. He was a shelter rescue who contracted Giardia. They did pay towards his neuter and hip x-ray, which serves as a baseline. This last treatment was denied because it was 2 days before the next policy year. OK, my bad. He is now 2 years of age, and they increased his premium. Now I have a new puppy who also contracted Giardia, which they did not cover as pre-existing. She did not have any illnesses/parasites at the time of purchase. Although they offered a multiple-pet family discount, it is laughable. I'm waiting for payment for her spay, and then I will reduce the policy. BTW, insurance is higher for female dogs. I get that the insurance policy really is for illness and accidents; however, when you opt in to include the wellness provision, it should have more compensation than it does, especially for rescue dogs. Lately, the processing for payment has had delays for no apparent reason. I do not want to lose coverage for my goldendoodles because, at some point, I will need the illness provisions of the policy.

It is so difficult to reach customer service. When I go into the app, it always says it is down. I have to google PetsBest to get in. I am currently on a 20+ minute hold trying to renew my policy. Per an email I received two weeks ago, this was to be renewed automatically on 2/6/26. It did not renew as of today 2/9/26. I have repeatedly tried entering the original credit card info I have on file and is still the same, but I am prompted that it did not go through due to problems with your website. I am still waiting for a pickup from customer service. Your music is so depressing. This is so frustrating. Claims take more than 5-10 days to complete as well.

I really dislike this insurance. Their review takes FOREVER - like MONTHS. Also they charge a co-pay on EVERYTHING - something I was not aware of when I signed up. And they don't cover anything. They cover like $25/year for vaccinations which doesn't even cover a full vaccine. It's a waste and I do not recommend. I wish I stayed with my former insurance company.

I have been very happy with Pets Best for my goldern retriever's insurance. They have been very generous in covering most of the cost for several mass removals on her body which for a 3 yr old golden was completely unexpected. My only complaint is that the monthly cost has almost doubled since I initiated the coverage and I'm not exactly sure why.

The website is not user friendly just trying to log in. I had to call customer service, and they advised they had an update to their website which required you to log in via a computer not using VPN. Also processing claims takes way too long. I had to submit my claims multiple times and the response was they didnt get medical records of the visit, however, I uploaded the medical notes myself and the vet confirmed they didnt get requests from Pets best to provide medical notes. Very disappointed as well with the amount of coverage considering how much you pay per month.

Filed my claims they went over them and paid what was in contract and in a timely way. Informed me along the way to give me updates on the process. Very professional.
