“Taking months to respond about claims is unacceptable I will be looking for another insurance company”

“Great service. I thought we’d never use it but it’s proven to be very useful. We initially got it for our newer cat who turned out to be a little troublemaker. He’s never needed it but shortly after our older cat developed bladder stones. The claim process was easy, although it took some time. When our vet didn’t submit the documents in time the PetsBest rep helped us resubmit and guided us on what to ask the office. All in all we’ve had a great experience with them and we highly recommend them.”

“I have had Pets Best Pet Health Insurance for many years, and I am delighted with them. They have always been there throughout all my pets most difficult times. When one of my pets needed care, I didn't have the added stress of worrying about the cost, because I knew Pets Best had our backs. We've experienced many difficult pet illnesses and sadly had to say goodbye to a beloved pet, but not before trying everything possible to help them, without worrying about the cost. Thank you, Pets Best, for always being there to count on and taking the financial stress out of the stress of worrying about a sick pet.”

“Pets best is terrible and I do not recommend. I signed up on 9/26 and it showed that my pet policy was active. A week later, my male cat had an emergency urinary blockage and I thought to myself, thank you God for this happening to our family after deciding to get health insurance (plan stated I could get up to 90% reimbursed) It took a whole month and 2 follow up calls that I initiated only to find out that there will be 0 reimbursements for my $2,000+ bill because it didn’t occur 14 days after my policy was activated? Make it make sense. Mind you- no where did I see this and on top of that they could’ve told me this before I wasted my lunch breaks with those 2 follow up calls? Talk about false hope. I literally spoke to multiple customer service associates who could’ve BEEN told me that info so I could be prepared? What’s the point of paying you every month then? Additionally, it costs my cats $130-180 for rabies and according to online, they only reimburse up to $15 WITH the additional wellness benefit… what a joke. Don’t even bother with this company.”

“The process of submitting a claim was very easy and straightforward. The time it took for them to process my claim and process reimbursement was 1 week for my largest claim which I thought was incredibly fast. My policy details are clear and I think my premium payment is fair. I would recommend Petsbest to a friend because the premium is not astronomical and I can rely on them if my pets have an emergency.”

“I’ve been really happy with Pets Best so far. Their plans are clear, and filing claims is simple. The only issue I’ve run into is that processing times can be slow, sometimes taking several weeks. If they sped that up, they’d be perfect.”

“I've been waiting a total of 3 months for a claim and it is still pending. I entered the claim and it was initially denied after 1 month because Pets Best requested information from a hospital that they didn't receive so they rejected the claim. I then had to get the information from the hospital myself and send it to them and reopened the claim. It's been pending for 2 months now with no updates on its status.”

“They’re almost always past the anticipated time to process claims. They consistently do not have chat operators available. They also don’t cover cremation or services for euthanasia. The more we get into claims, the more I see other companies offer more.”

“After shopping around, I was confident that this policy was the best price for the coverage I wanted. I am very thankful that I had it in place when my dog tore his ccl, and required surgery. Pets Best responded quickly, and their payment will keep my budget very comfortable, even after a very expensive procedure. I highly recommend this company!”
