“Great coverage, simple claims process, fast payments! Only took about a week from when I submitted my claim to when I received payment!”

“I submitted my first claim. A wellness visit. My dog was given Credelio Quattro for flea, tick and heartworm. Which should be covered. However it was rejected citing that it was grooming. I would have thought they should know what Quattro is especially that it was written as a 12 pack. Took a bit to get connected to the correct line. Spoke with a gentleman named Tye who was very pleasant and sounded like he knew his stuff. However being told it may take 21 days for them to re-review and correct their error seems a bit long.”

“I cannot recommend Pets Best enough. Getting pet insurance for my dog when he was young turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made. For years, when he was healthy, it honestly felt like I was paying for something I might never need. But now that he is 14 years old, I truly understand the value of having had continuous coverage his entire life. Because I enrolled him early and kept the policy active, so many age-related conditions and treatments have been covered without issues. As dogs get older, unexpected health problems, medications, diagnostics, and treatments can become incredibly expensive very quickly. Having Pets Best has given me peace of mind and allowed me to focus on taking care of my dog instead of constantly stressing about costs. My advice to every pet owner is: get insurance while your dog is young and healthy, even if it feels unnecessary at first. You will thank yourself later. Highly, highly recommend Pets Best.”

“So far, after having winnie for almost 7 years, Pets Best has been very consistent in covering any expenses that come up. I highly recommend adding the wellness to your policy. Covers most vaccinations andp partial reumburse for flea and tick and heartworm meds.”

“Once I figured out the initial steps for submitting a claim, it was relatively easy. I was notified quickly of the reimbursement and I am just waiting for the payment. So far -all looks very good.”

“Based on a claim I recently submitted which I thought contained all the data needed for acceptance and reinbursement of which you flat out DENIED the larger portion !! I don't intend to appeal your denial and will eat the charges ! Note the poor rating !!”

“Terrible experience- I have been fighting for two months to get my claims resolved. For one claim, they stated they had not received the documents necessary for them to make a decision. Then in a separate claim they referenced the exact documents that they claimed not to have to justify denying the claim. Their reason for denying covering my claim for an ear yeast infection? Because my dog was seen for eye discharge related to allergies 3 years ago. Customer service agent was no help at all. I’ve worked in customer service; I went out of my way to be kind and understanding yet she was so rude and unhelpful from the beginning. She then stayed on the line and refused to hang up so I couldn’t complete the customer survey at the end of the call. The portal also keeps changing the claim numbers and remixing which services are listed under which claim, so it is so difficult to keep track of what is being covered and what is not. I’ve had to create a separate document to keep track of all the claim numbers/statuses/details because the portal is so confusing. 3 vet visits have turned into now 11 claims (and counting). This has been a needlessly exhausting process; it seems like they are trying to make this process so difficult so I stop trying. My otherwise healthy dog just has a yeast infection in her ear, why have I had to spend 6 hours of my life fighting with dog insurance.”
