“I have had this insurance for both my dogs since they were puppies. Even though their rates go up every year, it’s worth it. I’ve always had great customer service and coverage! I always recommend to people. I will never be without insurance owning a pet again, and PB will be the one I will choose!”

“My cat was sick for over 3 months. It took a month and a half to find out she had chronic bladder infection and e-coli. Samples were sent to an out-of-state lab three times. She was considered healthy but then the e-coli reoccured. It took months of antibiodics, pain meds, and tests but she is now healthy! PetsBest was there helping cover expenses, which were high. I scanned and sent in many receipts at a time using outlook. Their response was timely and covered most of several thousand dollars of expenses. I highly recommend them.”

“First time I have had to use in two years. Easy to send a claim but for some reason on my first claim it duplicate it. Called and they said they would void the second claim.”

“Obvious why they’re so inexpensive. Terrible customer service, they deny claims and give no way to appeal. They denied a claim for an ear infection saying it was a preexisting condition - 8 months after I signed up. How is that possible? I would go with literally any other company.”

“Pets Best is incredibly quick to process claims and update the policy holder. My reimbursement check was mailed out with two-three days of submitting the claim. I would recommend Pets Best for fellow cat parents.”

“So far, I'm not impressed. My other dog used to have lemonade insurance and they paid claims quickly and actually paid attention to what the bill was. Pets best must have AI reading the bills and declining them or only paying partial payment. It took almost 3 weeks to get reimbursement. Lemonade used to take 3 days. I think I'm going to switch to lemonade because waiting 3 to 4 weeks for a claim to be paid is ridiculous.”

“I've had this insurance for 2.5 years. For the first time, we actually reached our deductible and Pet's Best couldn't have been worse to deal with to process the claim. I had to call and spend an estimated 2 hours on the phone with them over 3 different calls to get them to actually read the medical records that were provided by our vet offices. At the end of every call, they would assure me the medical records review team would read ALL of the files, and then just days later I'd get another email saying insufficient medical records even though they were all there the entire time. Highly disorganized, slow to process, and unhelpful support. Would not recommend.”

“Would be 5 stars, but processing claims and payments sometimes can take an extended amount of time. My dog tends to take the same pills each month and has the same tests at the same vets, but sometimes they they review and pay quickly and sometimes they don't. Also not a huge fan that only 80% of what I pay goes toward my deductible when I'm paying 100%. It basically makes the $1,000 deductible actually a $1,200 deductible. Not a huge deal, but they seem to be the only company that I've seen do it that way.”
