“I pay $88 monthly for a service with a focus on proper maintenance. I submit a bill of $218 for annual healthcare and receive only $94 in return. This is beginning to appear as a scam to me. I will seriously consider to NOT renew this contract.”

“Unfortunately, pre-existing conditions have been the killer for us with this insurance, as it appears it doesn't cover anything. However, there is a very slow turnaround time for getting any kind of reimbursement.”

“my dog had knee surgery, this dog was covered under pets best. the claim’s process was easy and kept me informed of the claim status. i received my reimbursement in a timely manner. very happy!”

“- The wait time for claims to be processed is often quite long - The coverage feels sparse. There are a lot of things excluded from deducitibles or coverage that one would expect covered when signing up for Pet's Best - The portal does not show the amount of wellness coverage reached and it is hard to track - contesting coverage is challenging”

“I have had Pets Best health insurance for my two dogs for a long time. Although the premieum keeps going up, it's like that everywhere. But it's easy to submit a claim, they email you the status of the claim, explanations and also if you have questions, they respond back within a very reasonable time.”

“Half the time none of my pet’s claims will be covered because a vet tech will administer my pet’s vaccines even though my vet has ordered them and is in the room watching them and have examined my pet and have spoken to me. Its just frustrating that I get constant denials because of this.”

“This is the second time I had to wait weeks for a simple yearly checkup turnaround. Perhaps for folks that have money, this is an effective way to handle insurance (reimbursement after payment) but for those of us who are trying pet insurance to offset the cost of service due to the rising costs of living and healthcare in general, it doesn't make sense. Either a quicker turnaround is needed, or, like regular insurance, some of the cost to the customer needs to be eaten up front, not only reimbursed. Please do better.”

“The process was easy to submit an claim on the app and it was pretty quick. The only annoying part was the poor service when calling in to talk to a representative. I wanted to ask if about coverage to be told nothing but the rep. Then she asked if she aswered all my quesitons? Obciously not, you said answered nothing.”
