“Terrible customer service, took 3 weeks for a claim to be reviewed and per usual, it was denied I’m dealing with a snow storm and shouldn’t have to wait several hours to get support to discuss my claim just for the call to be dropped.”

“I have been very happy with my dog's coverage from Pets Best Health Insurance. My first reimbursement too a little while but now that everything is set up, I got my reimbursement within 2-3 days of being submitted. Thank you!”

“All my pets in the family are covered under Pets Best. It is truly the best in the industry. They don’t deny coverage, they pay out fast and on par. You can always trust them. Even if the bill is bigger than you think. A true family friend”

“It's expensive, but all pet insurers are. This give me peace of mind that if something major happens to my pets, that I can take care of them without going bankrupt. Just one of my elder dogs medications for arthiritis yearly cost nearly pays for the cost of the yearly premium. I can take my pets to the vet without having to worry if it is a serious enough condition to justify expense. Pets Best lets me overcare as opposed to undercaring for my family.”

“It takes forever to get results and when I get them you cover almost nothing. It is a huge waste of my time and my money. I have a kitten I found outside who ended up having worms (I did not know this) and then I was denied coverage for almost everything because it was a "known condition." It's a load of bs if you ask me. I'm probably going to cancel soon. All of this money and it has saved me $19. My other kitten needed foreign body surgery again because he ate something else again, and they said my claim was a duplicate of a past claim and denied it, but it wasn't. The same thing just happened again. I will not be recommending pets best to anyone I know, and I live in a community where nearly all of my neighbors have pets. I would hate for any of the to waste their time and money.”

“The processing time for claims is very slow. We have been a customer for along time, and the turn around time has significantly changed. While I understand there might be alot of claims to process, we are paying high premiums and would like to see more timely feedback on claims. 5 weeks before the payment hits our bank.”

“I have had nothing but problems since obtaining this insurance for my pet. I was already apprehensive about getting pet insurance and this has experience has negatively impacted my faith in pet insurance. Your company has looked for every reason under the sun to not cover claims I have submitted, claiming I do not understand my policy. My vet has even clarified my dog does not have an "undiagnosed respiratory condition" like your company claims my dog has and I was still told that is now considered a pre-existing conditon for my dog. When you rescue a dog, customers should not be treated this way. We can only go off of the information that was given to us. Your website NEVER works, I cannot even access my pet's medical records. If things do not improve, I will be dropping pet insurance in it's entirety.”

“Explanations of Benefits lead time has increased from 12 - 21 days to 42 - 52 days. On top of the lag time, the last procedure my pet (TJ {canine}) was flagged and requested additional information & medical records from the doctor. I submitted a complete diagnostic overview.”

“I have two dogs covered under Pets Best Insurance. I have had to use my policy on both animals over the past few years. There were no hassles and filing my claims were easy. My polilcy paid for everything as required by my contract including prescriptions. There were no excuses, no unexpected denials, no problems! On occasion the processing of claims is slow but they are paid. I have had no problem referrring my family and friends to Pets Best. I will cover all of my future pets with this company as they are honest and do what they say they are going to do!”
