“It can be frustrating to get a representative on the phone without a horrendous wait. There are times I'm able to speak with someone rather quickly so it's hit or miss. Prior claims took awhile to process but we were also newer with records still coming in. My latest 2 claims were all processed in less than a week. So far I've had no hassles with claims & have had an overall pleasant experience. I will say I'm confused about the deductible vs prior plans. Despite my deductible being $1,000.. my entire $1,000 was never counted. Every single claim, even while still working up to my deductible, was only credited for 90%. So really my 1k deductible is 1,100 which seems half fraudulent or definitely false advertising. A competitor gave credit for every dollar spent (for covered services) until the deductible was meant so I'm very confused by this!”

“Sometimes submitting a claim is a hassle. The app doesn't work most of the time. It is difficult to submit more than 1 page per claim. Particularly when submitting multiple claims, consististing of rechecks, it is difficult to submit them at one time and include the payment.”

“I’ve had Pets Best Pet Insurance for the past 2 1/2 years. I’ve always had quick reliable service with an explanation of what was covered and not covered on my claim. They even covered a majority of the vet bill when I had to euthanize my dog a few months back. I’d highly recommend Pets Best Pet Insurance to any of my friends.”

“I've had issues with this insurance company before I have 3 dogs enrolled. I bought prescription hart worm medicine for all 3 dogs. 1st dog Izzy had a vet bill which some of it was paid heart worm medication was denied saying it wasn't medicine so was denied . 2nd dog Luna same heart worm medicine was accepted and paid for by insurance. 3rd dog Zo-e same heart worm medicine haven't heard anything yet all 3 sent in at the same time. I think this insurance company needs more qualified people plus someone to oversee their work, I'm not very happy with this insurance I'm going to look at other insurance companies to see what is available.”

“It should not have taken an appeal to get my claim to go through and then not to be reimbursed for the entire amount of the claim is very frustrating. The time it takes to process the claims take so long ontop of before you file an appeal. Then the customer service to get to this point is so rude and not understanding compared to what it was previously.”

“Pets Best is simply the BEST pet insurance!! I used it, unfortunately, extensively for a very young dog who suddenly lost her vision. Pets Best reimbursed exactly as promised in a very straightforward rapid manner. I cannot stress enough how grateful I am to be a Pets Best policyholder. I have incredible peace of mind for the ongoing care needs for the life of my young, blind dog.”

“Three days ago I had an $872 vet bill. Pet's Best has already settled my claim and after deductibles transferred $779 to my Care Credit Card. Pet's Best settles claims quickly and fairly. It is a lifesaver, and I would never be without it.”
