“I love my Pets Best health insurance for my golden retriever. I bought the policy when we got her as a puppy. Very easy to file a claim. The 24/7 phone line to get a vet tech to speak with you is fantastic. I have used it many times. I highly recommend getting health insurance for your pet and love my Pets best insurance.”

“Pets Best gives me so much peace of mind with my pets, especially now that they are getting older. I have had their insurance for approximately 5 years and am very happy with the claims process. It is easy to file your claim and you are compensated quickly. You also have the option of speaking to a pet specialist to get information about your pets health. I would recommend Pets Best to anyone looking for insurance coverage for their pets.”

“To me they are a great insurance for your pet they explain everything and if your not sure about your pet illness they have a vet on sight you can talk to before you take your pet to your own vet for medical attention thank you for taking care of my pet and myself James”

“I’ve uploaded my dogs claim and his blood work was marked as denied for being “dog food” when I called to tell Pets best that it is his blood work and uploaded proof of it they said it would take up to a month to “review and process” I don’t know how a charge of CHEM 15 would even be considered as dog food. And then to wait up to a month to be possibly reimbursed isn’t okay in my opinion.”

“Good website and competitive rates. However, the claims process leaves a lot to be desired. Currently, I have two claims being handled by Pets Best. Both were filed on the same day. It’s been five business days and I have not received a payout for either one of them. Additionally, one of the claims required additional information, even though I provided the order details and receipt for the purchase I made for my dog’s heart worm medication. In my opinion, it should not take this long to handle a very simple Wellness claim. Thank you.”

“I have had this insurance for several years. I recently filed my first claim for an emergency hospital ER visit and subsequent medical stay. While the claim was responded to quickly, the amount of the reimbursement was quite a bit less than what I expected. This was disappointing. My rating would have been 3.5 if that was an option.”

“The service and response time is excellent and payment was sent to my bank quickly. Unfortunately, between the deductible, co-pays and things which to me should be covered but were not (this was all done at an Emergency Vet clinic so how could anything not be covered???), we were reimbursed a fraction of the total cost. Probably not very different from all insurance companies but I'd have to weigh the cost of the insurance vs reimbursement in order to decide whether to continue the policy.”

“After a rough experience with our first rescue, we knew we needed pet insurance for our next rescue dogs. Thank goodness for our Pets Best policies! One rescue has to see two specialists, which are covered under his illness plan, and when our little rascal rescue ate something she shouldn’t have, the accident plan we have covered her.”
