“PetsBest is a good health insurance. I received reimbursement for all my claims. I just don’t like when their processing time takes many weeks, considering all documentation was provided when submitting the claim.”

“I've had my dog insured with Pets Best from 11 months old. The premium has gone from $174/yr to $1,135/yr (2019-2025). Which honestly is unacceptable but I continue to pay it because veterinary care cost has increased (but not 552%!) Additionally, you cannot change your plan except downward. But, claims are paid, sometimes with minor delays. The last two years, the increases have been insane, I doubt I'll continue at this rate. 2023 = $596, 2024= $710, 2025 = $1135 Just not sustainable. So the positives of claims payment usually in a timely manner versus CRAZY increases in premiums. Everyone needs to decide what is best for them”

“I have had Pets Best insurance for my dog since he was 10 weeks old, he is now 7.5. My claims have been paid without hassle. I am so happy that we have this insurance. I would recommend it to anyone and will always keep it for my pets. I feel confident this company is with me for the entirety of my dog's life to help us along the way. Thank you Pets Best!”

“Ive been with PetsBest for several years and did not need to submit claims for the first 4 years of having the policy. My dog became severely ill and spent days in critical care. Since that stay 2 years ago Ive submitted several claims, nearly every month, for ongoing specialty care and medications to manage his new diagnosis. Every claim Ive submitted has been processed timely and correctly. Each time Ive called to speak with a customer service representative Ive been pleased with their friendliness and professionalism.”

“I have liked having pets best I have two animals on it. I haven’t had any issues with pay outs. Everything that has said it will be covered is covered the monthly premiums are reasonable. My only complaint is the app is horrible it doesn’t work. Recently it has been working again hopefully it continues.”

“My PetsBest policy has allowed me to not think twice about doing the diagnostic and treatments needed to keep her healthy, regardless of cost. I have a illness/accident policy with a $1,000 deductible and 10% copay with unlimited coverage. Thank the heavens for PetsBest. I have 6 year old Airedale Terrier. She is the sweetest thing in the world and the biggest diva when it comes to care and maintenance. She always had some digestive issues and was sporadically regurgitating food. After starting her on a hydrolyzed diet, the regurg went away but skin issues started. This all started a few years ago. To address her health issues, we have had her scoped and most recently allergy tested - only to find out that, "She is allergic to everything!", as stated by her dermatologist. Scoping is very expensive. Allergy testing is VERY expensive. Allergy meds are very expensive. And as in the past with her scope, allergy meds, the gabapentin for her anxiety and separation anxiety, PetsBest has not let me down yet. Do the annual premiums get more expensive each year - absolutely. However, at this point the amount of money I have gotten back over her lifetime FAR EXCEEDS the cost of the premiums. Do I expect to see a big jump in a few months when the policy is up for renewal, yes I do. But when you have a dog that has medical needs, the cost of the premiums is small compared the amount recovered. Thank you, PetsBest, for coming through for our pup!”

“Pets best has the worst service I ever had, and I am 76 years old. In short they will find ways not to pay your claims. I never would use them for my pet insurance.”

“I've had this insurance for a few years and EVERY SINGLE TIME I submit a claim I get a message titled "We Apologize For The Delay" -- if you send this for EVERY claim, this is your way of doing business, not a delay. Do better.”
