“Quick and easy process!”

“If you need to speak with someone, it will be challenging. The chat feature doesn't usually address issues appropriately, and it's difficult to speak with someone in person. Like most insurance, it's a gamble. But it didn't work out financially for our young healthy dog. There was lots of things that didn't qualify in the way I thought they would. A three year old dachshund requiring a tooth be pulled was considered routine care and so wasn't covered. This didn't make sense to me as it isn't routine for a young dog; it should have been covered under illness instead. Anyway, not worth the money we paid for hoping to get things covered. Like most insurance, the money doesn't necessarily go to the pets it's meant to cover.”

“PetsBest covered majority of my dog's surgery (tooth extraction). Submitting the documentation for the claim was easy, and in just one week I got a reimbursement. It is worth to have a proper coverage for your furry baby.”

“In 2024 my cat was diagnosed with a life threatening illness. I’m so grateful that I have Pets Best insurance. They covered visits to the emergency vet as well as subsequent visits to her vet so they could monitor her recovery. I had one less worry thanks to them during a very stressful time.”

“I have found that Pet’s Best is a bit challenging to work with. Their app rarely works, and they (like most insurance agencies) do their utmost to cover as absolutely little as possible. For instance, I started pet insurance when I adopted my cat and during the two week waiting period before his coverage started, he had an ear infection. 6 months later, he was dealing with seasonal allergies. Pet’s Best wouldn’t cover his eye drops for allergies because he had a single ear infection 6 months before, calling it a preexisting condition. I would choose another pet insurance provider who has a smoother way of interfacing next time.”

“I am very pleased with Pets Best overall however I was disappointed that my policy did not cover the cost of basic cremation when our dog recently died. We had to euthanize a dog recently also and that cost was covered.”
