My pet was recently diagnosed with diabetes and shortly thereafter went blind. Having Pets Best insurance eased my mind when it came to the numerous appointments and medications we are administering. The customer service is excellent. The ease of submitting claims is wonderful. I have recommended Pets Best to friends and family and will continue to do so. Thank you.

The prices are insane, and every year, they increase by an exorbitant amount. When my dog needed his tooth pulled, it took over a month to get his claim approved, and they didn’t even cover the entire cost. I was left with a bill over $1,000. I’ll probably be cancelling before my policy renewal in February. They just sent me a notice that my price will increase another $40/mo. Trust me, they’ll send you these “notices” every year. It was unaffordable last year, and it’s more than unaffordable now. Save yourself and your wallet. Get coverage from somewhere else.

Great experience. Claim submittal is super easy!!! Just a but delayed on reimbursements but they are processed through my with a PDF detailing coverage and reimbursement.

Pet's Best is a very good pet insurance company. Claims are easy to submit and they are paid according to the contract. I have an older dog with some new issues, but Pet's Best has not abandoned us (although my premiums increased by a third). For us, it's still the best option. It is disappointing that Pet's Best and other companies do not cover Apoquel. The need for it is so common amount dogs during the pollen season that it should be part of wellness care.

This insurance has helped me a lot and my dog through his acl surgery. I did lose my job but still kept this insurance, hoping it doesn’t go up by much. The only complaint I have is how long it takes to get the refund.

Pets Best is an excellent pet insurance. I had my three Japanese Chin dogs insured with them and my experience is excellent with the way my claims were handled and my reimburse sent. Unfortunately two of my chins are now in the Rainbow and all the time the claims i submitted for them for handled very fast. Now i only have Valentina my other Jap.Chin and i am keeping her with Pets Best and when i am ready for another pet i will also enroll it with Pets Best.

When my dog passed pets best was very helpful in processing all the final invoices and were very sympathetic to my feelings. I appreciated their attitude during this difficult time.

Pets Best was a referral from a coworker. I’m very happy I chose to go with them. The only “negative” complaint I had read at the time of researching, was hard to reach customer service and long wait times for claim return; however, I’ve had great experience with the customer service and I think the wait times are reasonable. I notice that if I upload all the paperwork, it helps expedite things and limit their wait hearing from the clinic. The app has improved in functionality over the last year or else I would’ve given it a 4/5. What I’m most happy and impressed about is I’ve never had issues with claims being approved AND my newest pet has had a really rough year. I was afraid they’d drop him from insurance or significantly increase his premium. They did neither! It went up $30, which I think is reasonable. Very happy with them overall and how they’ve cared for my three pets claims.

Finally---Pets Best got it done right and done fast. Normally I had to wait a month or two for reimbursement on claims but they processed my claim immediately and it was a big one. Money seamlessly transfered into my account. Great experience and seems they have made major improvements.

Amazing! We've been with Pets Best for 5 years and it's the best decision we have ever made for our pets! Submitting claims is easy and the communication from Pets Best is great. Reimbursements are smoothly transferred into our bank account and always in a timely manner. When my dog had to have surgery, I called to ask a few questions and customer service was wonderful. We couldn't be happier with our coverage and tell everyone about Pets Best. Our vet asked who we use and were so impressed with the coverage and how happy we are, they now recommend Pets Best to other clients too! We've never had any other brand for coverage, but in talking to others it sounds like they're definitely not all created equal and we hit the jack pit with Pets Best!! Thank you for making our pets lives better and ours less stressful! Highly recommend!!

Have this since we got our dog. 4 years.They don't pay out anything. Going into 2025 i am going to start looking at other pet insurance company. If you submit a $642 claim you only get back $250. Wtf Feel like they are after market car insurance. Wait until you put in a claim and basically nothing is covered.

I am giving three stars because it takes sometimes over a month to receive payment which is probably standard but could be a little faster. Secondly, the technology and platform that pets best uses is a joke. SO MANY BUGS. Invest a little bit more in your platform so it’s a user friendly. The app is frozen all the time and you have to re login a million times to get to where you need to be always says error when you click on claims. It’s 2025 we legit have self driving cars and technology that’s smarter than humans. Invest in your stuff, you’ll get attract more customers @ceo
