“We had a claim for our Beagle's surgery Pets Best Insurance paid the correct amount but the process took longer then we expected it would be Our premium went up $30 a month , not happy with this, I did research and Pets Best costs are considerably higher then other companies”

“I pay all this money and when I put in a claim it almost never paid or poorly paid. I have the wellness and emergency care plan. I wonder if I am just wasting my money. And yes I know there is a deductible and yes I have met it. I spent $352 the other day. Got 80 back.”

“Pets Best insurance is overall good but I am not happy with their wellness plan coverage. I have been using Pets Best insurance for the fifth year now. I understand the insurance rates will go up every year which is normal but the wellness plan benefit coverage had stay the same at $305 since 2021. Due to inflation, the costs for annual visit, vaccines, flick/tick prevention, sample exams, etc. have all gone up year over year. I have talked to the customer service several times for them to review with the corporate and increase the benefit coverage but had not seen any changes. Please review and adjust the benefit coverage. Thank you.”

“Pets Best has been good about refunds of vet bills and that is greatly appreciated. I am, however, a little disappointed in the large increase in the monthly premium but my little dog is now seven years old so will most likely maintain this insurance.”

“Now that I have a sick dog, I realize the numerous exceptions. The vet visits to see a sick puppy are not covered, even though the insurance is supposed to cover illness. What??? And for the things that are covered, only 80% of that costs is applied to the deductible instead of 100%. Insurance for people does not work that way, so why is pet insurance following a different--and therefore deceptive--model? I have continually tried to add my credit card for reimbursement, and I continually receive an error.”
