“Terrible service, it took them a long time to respond to my claim, too many obstacles to process it, and when it was finally processed they told me they couldn't issue a refund because it wasn't covered, when that service is covered by the coverage I contracted. When I tried to contact someone to explain why they didn't just answer the machines, I was never able to speak to anyone. Terrible customer service.”

“I have been impressed with Pets Best since I first signed up several years ago. It’s my first time buying Pet insurance and I highly recommend them. They are reasonably priced and if you call to get an understanding of your options, they are very thorough in explaining things to you so you can make the best decision for your pets. They process claims relatively quickly and accurately. They cover exactly what they say they will. Five star customer service in my kind.”

“My claims were processed quickly. Wish PetsBest will review their reimbursement fees for the northeast. Based on my calculations the reimbursement is less than 70% . The fees are very high and reimbursement very low. I had to remove the wellness package for one of my cats and downgrade from 90% to 80% and a higher deductible for a cat who has not been to the vet in 7 years. The fee went you by $30. The explanation was they have to payout lots of claims and that’s the reason why the fee went up. I have 5 cats insured with Pets Best and I pay over $3600 per year for less that $500 reimbursement per year Sometimes I feel it’s it really worth the cost?”

“I used their Wellness benefit during year 1 to help with puppy vaccines & neutering then opted for just the general plan. Rarely used it until, at almost 13 years of age, my dood suddenly had laryngeal paralysis. Emergency surgery & post op meds covered without delay.”

“We've been with Pet's Best for a few years now, with 2 of our dogs. So far, it's been excellent; they are more than fair on what they cover, and we have never been stranded with a hefty bill they didn't cover. The rates are fair as well, even for our aging dogs. Claims are usually paid out pretty quickly; however, there is sometimes a delay, but nothing major. We would definitely sign up any future pets with Pet's Best in the future!”
