“I've had PetsBest for my two dogs (a Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd Dog) for going on 8 years now. I'm a Licensed Veterinary Technician and even with my discount, pet care is VERY expensive! I've never had an issue with them covering my claims, as I understand my policy very well on what will and won't be covered. The only reason they aren't 5/5 stars for my review is the turnaround time for some claims takes 3 to 5 weeks to see money back. Prescriptions are covered within a week typically but diagnostics or a hospitalization claim has taken 4+ weeks. I also confess a star is taken off as each and every year my policy has gone up and up. I understand paying more because veterinary care is also going up and up, but some of the rate hikes have seemed extremely substantial considering they claim they do not charge more for pets issues. I know my dogs are getting older as well but a 58% rate increase this past year seems excessive, and I'm slightly scared for my February 2026 renewal at this rate.”

“When I look at what is covered and paid for with this insurance, I question if it is worth it. My vet charged about $700 for a wellness check, tests and vaccines. Insurance paid onlly $235. With the insurance price going up, I may just pay out of pocket.”

“I’m so thankful for Pets Best! It has been a 100% positive experience. My dog has unfortunately had quite a few issues, and his claims are processed extremely quickly and without any fuss. Great communication, wonderful insurance. Highly recommend!”

“First, knowing that I have pet insurance for my Prince is comforting! I've had this insurance since he was 3 months old. He's been pretty healthy. This year, I've submitted claims for an injury and even more recent health concerns. I appreciate the immediate communication that I receive from the start of the claim to its completion. The summary is very detailed and outlines what is expected with the benefits and refund that is to be expected.”

“I feel insurance for my pet is a must to give him the best life and help me with unexpected costs. Pets Best is a great company with fast reimbursement and all digitally done on my phone . They respond quickly and covered costs are direct deposited. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for pet insurance.”

“Takes a really long time to get claims completed at least for new pets. Seems to be going faster now. Phone app doesn’t always work so that’s kind of a bummer. All in all though I would Recommend this insurance. Good prices and the coverage is good.”

“Pets Best provides pretty good coverage and processes claims fast. The premiums have increased a lot in recent years for my “senior” kitties, but it provides peace-of-mind in case they develop anything really serious. I have been a customer of Pets Best for about 20 years and I will continue with them.”
