Terrible insurance. I had healthy paws before and it was worth paying. It takes 30 days to get my reimbursement and the app NEVER works. Waste if my time

I feel that my veracity is always challenged with my claims as well as the San Martin VCA Animal hospital!

Since we are unable to see your pet in person, we rely on the veterinarian’s notes during each appointment to provide us with the information we need to accurately review your pet’s health - even if/when the visit may be unrelated to your specific claim. I be was told my yearly deductible was $250 now it’s $1000 I can’t speak to someone on the phone. All my claims were denied? I’ll probably switch soon. I do not recommend them!

Used to love Pet's Best but not anymore as my premiums are increasing more than 100% which isn't reasonable nor affordable. I had 13 policies and now just canceled two and most likely will be canceling more as they come due and just put money aside for veterinary care.

Took a month to get approved, claim was changed in the app by them then changed back then once finally approved only for 1/4 of what was paid. Not sure why, not enough info is provided and coverage is not good so far (it’s our first claim). Would not recommend

I submitted over $350 on claims, they reviewed it for several weeks and even they asked more documents from vet. Eventually they paid me $26 for my claim!! If I knew they were going to pay this much I wouldn’t have even bothered to claim and waste all that time to submit documents! I am very surprise of their pay system! This is practically useless!

Not happy with how much the coverage went up after each year. We just couldn't afford it anymore. Plus it took over a month to get any reimbursement from them if there even was one.

This is by far the worst insurance I’ve ever had. They told me they would pay Claims within 7 to 10 days. Usually get two within 48 hours took a month definitely go with a different company.

Gave me a hard time with the back and forward with claim that I made as if I was trying to fraud the company. Spent 4K on my dogs hospitalization just for the insurance to want to finally reimburse me $2500 which is not even 80% as promised!

thank you for responding to my review. I did call and get an explanation of my claim. If I could leave less than a 1 star, I would. For your "wellness" plans, you cover a TOTAL of $150 a year. That is for spaying and teeth cleaning. Either of those procedures is far in excess of $150. It is worse for illness or accidents. This company is not trying to help people with the high cost of veterniary care. This company is a rip-off. People would be ahead significantly by taking the premium for the year and putting it in a savings acct.

one of the worst company’s out there. i’ve never had this long of a wait and the customer service is so unhelpful i can’t wait for my policy to expire so i can switch to a new insurance company.

I really hate this service. It doesn't cover barely anything and hasn't helped offset costs. My animals rarely get sick and I hate paying over 100 a month for something that rarely ever benefits me. I thought I had dental care so long as I got regular cleaning and they didn't even cover cleaning. I should have wellness plan. This sucks and I feel trapped into continuing to pay for it because if an accident happens I will need the help If it doesn't, I'm screwed into paying hundreds to this company. I can't switch because now that my puppy is almost 2 it'll cost more. I hate this and wish someone would plainly explain how I can get the most out of this service but of course they won't help.
